Gakkou Gurashi, like Corpse Party, is a violently horrifying anime that wears a moe-mask at all times.
Characters are cute. Some are traumatized. In both shows they're in a scary school were things will try to kill you and you'll most likely die. Characters fight for their lives. Full of horrifying and sad deaths. Corpse Party has more gore but both are creepy.
Both anime have cute characters. Both anime have characters trying to escape from a cruel reality/world. the Characters are mentally unstable and don't see what they have in front of their eyes. Obviously both anime set in a school where happen mysterious events.
They both have a deceivingly cute cast of high school students that appear to be in a seemingly slice of life anime but have something much darker and disturbing beneath the moe surface. Lots of bad stuff happens to them :( corpse party is a lot more gorey
