both future, both action + romance, both follow merc-ish groups. very similar themes great soundtrack, less gory and flashy than cyberpunk at times.
if you are experiencing withdrawals from cyberpunk this is a must watch. not quite as polished as cyberpunk but still great. Also Inori is hella similar to Lucy.
