Hmm, a bit about me, I feel like one of those transfer students in the school animes that are never really quite sure what to say...well, I'm originally from Australia I migrated to the UK where I first developed my love of Anime.

It's always to cold to go outside and and disposable income is not currently what it was back home, so I kill my time with a mixture of Gaming, Comics (Not Manga, Mostly Marvel some DC and Image), Television and Movies. I do plan on making a start on some Manga soon, if only to get some stuff on my Manga list. I also drink to add to my enjoyment levels during these experiences. I'm not a NEET, I work full time in Sales and partake in certain social events which also mostly comprise of more drinking. I would say I'm a social drinker, but, since moving to the UK it seems I've gotten a lot more social.

A few years ago I was introduced into the marvelous world of Anime when I decided to watch an English dubbed version of High School DxD (A re-watchable guilty pleasure of mine, even today). I can't remember exactly what it was that swayed me to it. No that's a lie, it was the absolute beauty that was encapsulated within the crimson red haired demon princess Rias Gremory. But more than that, it was the playful nature of Akeno, the sheer innocence of Asia, the hilarious perverseness of Issei and how such a diverse cast of characters interact so well with each other.

It was also funny and had heaps of boobs with some cool fight scenes.

After watching the 3 series in one weekend, stopping only to use the bathroom and eat (at separate times, I don't eat in the bathroom.) I was hooked. 175 Episodes of Fairy Tail simply pulled me further down the rabbit hole. Now I find myself watching pretty much nothing BUT anime. Except of course my cool comic based series such as walking dead and the recently released Preacher & Outcast.

So that's pretty much me as it relates to my new found love of Anime. If you look at my list you will find little deviation in my ratings. That's because since 5 is average (I wont stick out a series that I think is less than average), and I don't use a dropped list, because, well, I just don't want to, I'm basically left ranking my list items from 5 -10. I am yet to Use 10 because it would mean that I have found the best ever Anime in the world. So in actual fact I rank from 5-9. Also, it has been bought to my attention by many people that I basically just like a lot of crap. I have very broad tastes and like a lot of stuff. Romance, Horror, Action, Comedy. Shōnen, Shōjo, Ecchi, Harem. When it comes to my Anime I'm quite easy to please.

My goal is to one day be so well versed in Anime that I can just get on the Forums and open up some crazy conversations. But right now my lack of experience with VN's, LN's, Japanese Games and Manga, makes me feel like a bit of a Noob. Almost unqualified to have a decent opinion. Like a child discussing a fine wine at a wine tasting meeting when they're not even old enough to taste the wine, so they just look at it and give an opinion.

Also If you've read this right to the end then feel free to drop me a friend request if you would like I'm trying to get a bit more active on here and meet some people with similar interests since 90% of my Facebook friends think Anime is nonsense. At the moment I'm shooting pretty blindly with what I watch and Read so I'm always open to suggestions. Please don't try to mainstream me though. For everything I like it seems I don't like a lot of the stuff I'm expected to like.
