It's funny that you mentioned Chobits when reviewing Zettai Kareshi. The only thing that I would caution others about when comparing those two is the fact that one shows us that love can even overcome the differences between robots and humans while the other is a definite tragedy that seems to point towards a different conclusion about the omnipotence of love. Seriously, that just pisses me off and I keep hoping that someone, someday will make an adaptation that gives us, if not a Bicentennial Man ending, at least a Chobits one. I mean, why is it that all the stories of males with female robots end up with everything working out while all we get is pain, unless you want to count the pitifully short story that is Flowernoid.
