Allright then. Finished this manga and I wanted to say a bit about it because I have mixed feelings and the synopsis MAL gives you is pretty crappy as of right now.
‘All of Humanity is Yuri Except For Me’ is a relatively short manga about a girl who suddenly finds herself in a world where men don’t exist. She starts panicking and questioning if all of this is real but calms down when she gets in contact with a girl who agrees to believe her story. From there on out they try to find clues as to how this happened as well as how
...
to reverse it, while in the meantime the fact that this other girl falls in love with her complicates things a bit.
The start seemed very promising to me. I like parallel worlds, I like yuri and I like mysteries that need to be solved. It sounded like a safe manga to read to have a good time. And looking at it afterwards it still kinda was, but not as good as I hoped it to be. I did like the characters and the setting, and I also liked the determination of the protagonist to set things straight, both with getting back to her original world and her friendship with the second girl.
However after around the halfway point it became pretty clear what the rest of the manga will focus on: the protagonist trying to get home and the romance getting tenser and more exciting. And don’t get me wrong, those were both things that were ‘advertised to be there’ from the very beginning. My problem is with the fact that everything else is kind of neglected. For example: The whole fact that the entire world consists of nothing but girls. You know, the whole title of this manga? In the first like 2 chapters this matters, but in by far the larger second half it doesn’t matter whatsoever. It’s a different world than the one the protagonist came from and that’s it, the fact that the difference is that all men are gone doesn’t really affect the story at all.
Another thing I could complain about is that side characters only appear for a very short time and then just become irrelevant, but I guess that’s to be expected from a short manga.
You should read this if:
- You like the isekai genre (but don’t think about it too much)
- You like having an all-girl cast
- You want to have a short read with some decent yuri romance in it
You shouldn't read this if:
- You take world-building very seriously
- You don’t like it after the first chapter (it will be a lot more of that)
- You don’t like yuri at all (in which case, how did you even get here?)
Initial score: 8.0/10
Final score: 7.0/10

I'll keep this review short.
If you haven't watched Eiken, what are you even doing with your life?
Quality: 1/10
Enjoyment: 2/10
Experience: 10/10
...
[Some extra text because the review was TOO short apparently, but I wanted to keep the essence of the short review intact. This is very interesting to write, and obviously to read as well. How is your day going? Mine is quite shaky as I just finished watching Eiken. Have you heard of that show? It's an experience I'll say. Fun fact: I found it easier (WAY easier) to get through than Eromanga Sensei. For some reason this review is STILL TOO SHORT. Fuck my life]

Ah, Yuzumori-san. The first manga I’ve ever started reading, and now it’s over. In the end I have mixed feelings about this manga, mostly because I liked certain chapters much more than others, so I decided to write a review about it.
Yuzumori-san is a manga about a high school girl who encounters a girl who’s in elementary school and instantly falls in love with her. In that one sentence you already have a same-sex relationship and a large age gap, so people may describe the protagonist as weird or gross as she is a lesbian lolicon. However, this manga knows this and the protagonist does
...
as well.
The part that makes Yuzumori-san really shine is the protagonist, as she is struggling immensely between her strong affection towards this elementary schooler, and her sense of morale which keeps her from actually laying a hand on the girl. The latter force is shown to be the strongest, but these forces get really close. This struggle is the part I liked the most about this manga. The protagonist really is a kind and innocent maiden, her “primal desires” just happen to be different from the norm.
Having said that, the biggest problem I had with this manga is that everything I talked about and makes this manga great in my opinion only really happens in the first 23 chapters, with chapters 1 through 15 being the high point. From chapter 24 onwards (and also somewhat between chapters 16 and 23) the manga doesn’t focus on these aspects as much to make room for drama. That in itself is not necessary a bad thing, but if it replaces something as great and amazing as the first 15 chapters it really becomes a shame.
That is actually about everything I have to say about this manga; I absolutely love the protagonist and what goes around inside her head, but only really that much in the first 15 chapters. The biggest “flaw” this manga had was that it chooses a different path after that and focuses more on drama and sadness, instead of embarrassment and happiness.
You should read this if:
- You like to see girls be embarrassed out of their love for someone
- You like to see sense of morale win when it comes into conflict with strong desires
- You are attracted by little girls but would never lay a hand on one of them, you want to protect them instead
You shouldn't read this if:
- You are disgusted by either homosexuals or relationships with a big age gap (remember though: this manga really is about pure and innocent love)
- You can’t handle (relatively) sad things happen to happy characters
- You are attracted by little girls and hope our protagonist will rape the other girl or something like that, if so: please get out of here you sickening bastard
Initial score: 9.5/10
Final score: 8.5/10

I believe everyone has had one of those shows that had an interesting description, a funny first episode and made you excited to see where the story will go, only for it to be revealed that the answer is: “nowhere”. After watching Blend S I felt obliged to write this review, as this show fits that bill perfectly in my opinion.
As I said just now, the premise of this show was fine: we have a girl who has a distinctive “creepy smile” which caused her to not be able to find a job. Luckily for her she finds a café which specializes in having maids
...
with different persona’s and they are looking for a “sadistic” one. Rounding up the cast of persona’s will be (as seen in the opening): a tsundere, a little sister, a big sister and an idol. More than enough variety to keep things interesting right? At least that was what I was thinking after episode 1.
The biggest problem for me was that instead of moving forward the show just kept repeating itself, over, and over again. I know this is supposed to be an episodic anime but that’s not the point I’m trying to make here. Characters and situations don’t evolve over time but stay the same as they were from the start. Take the protagonist Maika for example. In the first episode it is shown that she has a “creepy smile”, she likes foreign things, she is very self-conscious, she apologizes a lot and she cannot read the situation most of the time concerning Dino (the manager who has a crush on her). That may seem like a big list, but the thing is all of this is shown in episode 1, and in the entirety of episodes 2 through 12 nothing is added, removed or changed from that list. Someone who watches the first episode basically knows as much about Maika (both her personality and her background) as someone who finished the entire show.
But unfortunately Maika isn’t the only one with this problem.
Not only is this the case for almost all of the other characters as well, the humor itself also suffers from it. The joke that Maika says something that causes Dino to get a nosebleed and then showing Maika not knowing why this happened has been made about 4 times each episode, and I do not think that is exaggerated at all. The first two times it was hilarious, the six times after that it was still funny, but then there were 10 episodes more to go. Again, the humor itself isn’t the problem. In fact, I was enjoying myself quite a lot in the beginning, but they are just so repetitive. That’s why I found myself laughing just a couple of times in the last six episodes: When they occasionally made a new joke.
Lastly I would like to point out another frustration I had while watching this anime, which is the “delay of Hideri”. Hideri is the final character that was supposed to be added to the group and *SMALL SPOILER ALERT* is besides an idol persona also a trap, a fact that made me curious as to how this character was handled. *SPOILER END* As the rest of the show didn’t really impress me after episode 4 I was kind of waiting for Hideri to save it. Unfortunately, Hideri first showed up in episode 8. Out of 12. Yeah. If I had known that I probably would have either skipped episode 5 through 7 or dropped it entirely.
In short, this is a fun anime and great overall, if it was three episodes long. For the length that is has right now it’s too short on original jokes, by far. But hey, there’s always the next show about characters running a café or something like that. Personally I’m still planning to watch ‘Working!!’ and ‘Servant x Service’ so I still have my hopes up for this genre.
You should watch this if:
- You are a complete sucker for one or more of the mentioned persona’s
- You really love maid café’s
- You like a good laugh (only the first few episodes really)
You shouldn't watch this if:
- You expect to see one or more of the mentioned persona’s being fleshed out
- You dislike Dino and Maika’s relationship in episode 1 (because you’ll get a LOT more of that)
- You are easily annoyed by jokes getting repeated over and over
Initial score: 7.5/10
Final score: 6/10

I'm sure all of you have seen a bunch of shows that had a good premise and an interesting setup, in one word, potential, that unfortunately fell flat on its face after a few episodes and never really recovered. For me, Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl is one of those shows.
The premise of this show was great: we have a guy who is in love with a girl, gets rejected, turns into a girl by some bizarre accident and then maybe has a second chance in winning this girl's affection, this time in a yuri way. Once that accident happened at the end of episode 1
...
I was as hyped as I've could have been, and if someone would ask me to rate this show right then and there I would have given it a 9. But, unfortunately, it was not meant to be.
The two biggest problems with this show were the story and the characters. Sound was OK, art was fine and the OP wasn't bad either, but the story was, well, basically shit. This is first and foremost a romance anime, so it should do good in that aspect of the show, but it didn't. The show used cliché upon cliché: I've stopped counting for the number of times a character in the love triangle just happens to walk in on the other two at exactly the right moment. I mean, if that happens once or maybe twice it is still a bit cringy, but I can deal with that. But when that happens nearly every episode or so and most of the drama comes from those encounters, you have a badly written story. The overload of clichés and the weird turns the story suddenly makes, along with Yasuna's main plot point, are what ruined this story and by extension this show for me.
But wait! There's more!
The characters in this show also really suffered from poor writing. We have mister/misses protagonist Hazumu who is nice and all but A: adapted to being a girl really freaking quickly, and B: is as indecisive as you can get, miss initial love interest Yasuna, who starts out as a selfish bitch in my opinion but gets better sometime later, only to get me to dislike her again right before the end, miss childhood friend Tomari who is was rooting for from the start, but also managed to gain my disliking near the end of the show, and a bunch of side-characters who acted as comic relief and actually did that fairly well... but then disappeared halfway through the series and didn't come back. Whyyyyy?
In short, I really hoped this would be a great show but it let me down. I'm quite sad about that, especially since there is almost no chance that someone else also used this setting and plot, but did it right this time.
You should watch this if:
- You just want to see a bunch of cute girls who are in love with each other
- You really like love triangles
- You like a good laugh (only the first few episodes really)
You shouldn't watch this if:
- You like yuri and you have high expectations for this show
- You like a well written (love) story
- You are easily annoyed by clichés
Initial score: 9/10
Final score: 6/10
