Though the concept behind Death Parade is a solid 10, it really feels like the writers ran out of steam about halfway through the season. In a weird spin on the death/survival game genre, dead people (who don't quit know that they're dead yet) face off in twisted games.
As far as they know, they're playing for their lives, and gross/sad stuff happens as a result. The episodes where the aforementioned games happen are great, but the ones where we learn about the mechanics behind the limbo where they happen felt dull to me.
It's still a neat anime and worth your time if you'd like to
