Watch C, the money of soul. It's kinda that new shit. director is the same director from Kuchu buranko too (who also coincidently was on the bebop staff)
If TTGL ended after episode 15 I would have given it a clean cut 9. But I'm on ep 20 now and it's looking more and more like an 8 the further I go. Hopefully I don't end up as low as 7
yeah, I gave it a 9 before the last two episodes honestly. The only thing I liked about ep. 24 was the Izaya Simon chat. Hands down the best part of the episode. Simon is that dude, but everything else was expected. I'll probably read the manga and novels though just to see what goes down in ikebukoro
So after re-watching Geass (I just finished yesterday, both seasons) I'd safely say 2/3 of it was better than I remember, even knowing all the twists. Errr... Most all the twists, I had forgotten a few details. The last 1/3 though, meh, the knightmare fights got annoying. Season 1 was epic because there weren't 50 different uber-tier knightmares. Season 2 was just all knightmare fighting and emo shit with a little bit of greatness mixed in from season 1.
All in all, definitely worth the rewatch. Season 1 still gets a 10 from me, 2 however I'd probably say 8
Well, it could be a good show. Can't judge a book by it's cover. But damn that cover is gay! lol
Angel Beats is kinda meh. At times it can be pretty funny; However the actual "drama" sequences are waaay too overdone. Action is kind of decent when it shows up, but there is one drawback. It only really happens during concert scenes for a questionable female band. However it's only episode 6, so who knows the plot may flesh out. Right now though, predictable story is predictable. The female lead does kind of remind me of Haruhi though. Not in the best way, but not in the worst way either. All in all, I'd say 5-6 range from what I've watched so far...
Dude, I need to watch these Durarara episodes again. I'm sure there are things that I missed from the first run through, annnd you have the awesome rips... Lol. I want to see what I may have missed at first glance.
I recently made Mushi-shi my new running only anime. I only watch 2 episodes a day until I finish the series and I only watch them while I'm running. So far, it's different. It's more mystical/fantasy than it is what most generic anime aims for, so I can appreciate that. However I'm not quite sold, though I'm gonna finish it anyway. Though it does look nice.
Well, other than the fact that Kuchu Buranko was pretty lulzy, I enjoyed the presentation. The fact that all the patients were connected or ended up connected in some way was pretty cool. At first the animation and all the trippy colors caught me off guard, but by the end of the series it felt completely natural. You'd be lying if you told me you didn't laugh at some of the things Irabu said/did. It was pretty good, and I enjoyed how short it was.
If you've got the series I'll just grab it from you then. Same with Geass though I need to make some room on my HDD... I still have so many shows to watch!!
Did you finally catch up on Durarara!!!? if not shame on you, the second half is shaping up to be better than the first imo (well without the amazing op). Durarara to me kinda feels like Geass did a few years ago. They are entirely different shows, but each one of them has managed to keep me insanely excited about the next episode. And I haven't seen one Durarara ep that failed to deliver so far. Then again maybe I'm just a slight fanboy...

My personal opinion, sounds like the gayest anime ever... It's a drama about 7 teenage (basically) prisoners called rainbow. Screams homosexual lol
