Hello. Idk if it's normal on this site to just comment randomly on someone's account, but just wanted to say I stumbled upon your account, first one I've checked out on here. Your instagram has very nice art, and your user gave me a chuckle. Tired little Kiss-Shot/Shinobu makes a nice icon too.

Hey, I love your review for Ten Thousand Yen. Unfortunately, I didn't know not to read chapter 8.5 until after I read it, but it didn't hamper my enjoyment of the work overall. Hope you have a nice day. :)

Hey no worries, it's been a while for me too. Thanks for the recommend. I've thrown that on my list and have heard the same from others, but it seems to be worth the read from what I've gathered.

I'll take a look at some of those recs and will follow up once I decide to jump into any! Cheers!

Hey, I'm in the middle of reading I sold my life for ten thousand yen per year and I just read your review. First of all, thanks for saving me from spoiling anything accidentally. I also got a kick out of the ASPCA comment. (/▽\)

Anyway, I ventured over to your page and I think you've got great taste. Some classics, some good modern stuff like Usagi drop and F/Z (I just finished UBW and am going to be working through F/Z. I feel that I can say it's good regardless because I just ~know~ lol)

Any manga you'd recommend to anyone no matter what? The only one I have in my PTW from your favorites is A Silent Voice.

I think the episode count is still fine. I think there was more development for akiras family in the manga however I hear the manga spends little time on his bff

My favorite characters where the rapper dudes they felt the most realistic and I kind of relate to them (i dont rap fyi). Their bits in the show reminded me of watching a episode of durarara which is one of my favourite anime. Actually I would watch a whole show about the rapper characters without the tragic demise ofc

So like myself your someone who likes a payoff in a story.

the ending felt more like a shock ending then a we are done hope you had fun type ending. plus that episode ten felt like the whole premise for a season two but its probably best they did not otherwise it would have been dragging things out for Akiras eventual meaningless death.
Cyborg_Dragon Jan 11, 2018 6:58 AM
the whole authors message was pretty much us humans digging our own grave. Devilmans ending is the type I hate because you might as well say nothing happened and everyone just dropped dead. The thing I like about the ending is that it cut to the chase rather then drag it out.

The author made it as anti war propaganda basically and it was only publishing for a year and half originally.

I like reviews that try to be funny. If I was to put out a recommendation for what to watch next I would recommend Parasyte the maxim, Ajin demi human and Tokyo Ghoul. All of them have a story similar to Devil Man but have better less pointless conclusions and better main characters especially in the case of Parasyte.

liked your review for devilman the abused body pillow thing made me laugh my ass off
Navster Jan 7, 2018 11:12 AM
Personally as someone who loved the original Devilman manga, I thought Crybaby is a brilliant and unique adaptation but I can understand that Devilman is not for everyone due to it's graphic content and plot twists near the end. It's fine if you do not like it since that is your opinion after all.
Navster Jan 7, 2018 8:51 AM
That "edgy shit" inspired Evangelion and Berserk you know.

Devilman is 25 years older than EoE.

I definitely will read the manga, I just need to finish some animes and start others, and then, get a free time. Berserk seems really great, my friends always tell me that it's one of the best mangas ever made so, watching Berserk is a obrigation to me :v
Sukeroku Apr 29, 2017 8:51 PM
The golden age is the first arc of the manga? If so, can I start reading the manga after watching the movie? My problem with the manga is: it has more than 300 chapters, it's too long, I think I would take 3 months to read all the chapters
It’s time to ditch the text file.
