Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru (2014) is magical girl series following five girls who become heroes to protect the world from mysterious monsters called Vertexes. It’s a beautiful mix of slice of life and magical girl battles, plus it also deals with a lot of dark themes despite its bubbly appearance. YuYuYu has also built a large universe around itself with multiple prequels, sequels, light novels, mangas, and video games! If you're looking for a new magical girl series with interesting characters, worldbuilding and an amazing soundtrack, I would definitely recommend YuYuYu!
