First of all, I have read the manga.

the anime itself is 8/10.
If you want a short shoujo story that span over multiple couples in the same school, then this is the anime for you.

BUT. Since I have read the manga, the rating of this anime should be 6 or even 5 out of 10. The manga is good. But in the anime they skips A LOT OF SHIT. and because of that, they have to change quite a few things. With how long the manga is, the content that they have could cover quite a couple of seasons. But they don't want to make another ... season for it. so they HAD to cut off a lot of things.

It's quite the missed opportunity. They could have make the first season true to the title, Horimiya which is Hori and Miyamura. And cover some of the other characters relationship a bit to leave some leeway for a 2nd season. But the anime was made to cover the whole Horimiya series.

Since the anime itself is 8/10 and I as a manga reader give the anime 6/10, I cannot in good conscience give it either. So I gave it 7/10.
