like everything in DR, everything is great until ~satan~ enoshima shows up. if you are wondering when it get's to the point of "hell is too good for junko" it's in episode 9 and onward. right from the get-go i knew this is gonna end badly but damn.
now for the review. this is both a prequel to SDR2 and to the future ark, filling holes in the first and explaining stuff for the second, and such, is pretty predictable. but even tho it's predictable, it's still enjoyable, if you like the SDR2 characters.

Higurashi Gou is a sequel to the og higurashi, that like me, you can watch without knowing anything about the original show. you see, some of the things that would be considerd as the "main mystery", tell you who and what they're suppose to be, because the show is not about them. i understood the general idea of stuff like the curse or the animel-named-groups without the need to see the original show, which gave me more enjoyment, because we didn't focus on those stuff, but instead we focused on the main cast, who were all likable.
