So many people were against this season when it first came out, and it was because of Alois and Claude. Hell, even I was, I love Ciel and Sebby and didnt want to see them replaced.
However as I started watching it, I grew to love it. Alois surpassed my love for Ciel and became my favourite character, even if he is a bit gone.
This review may contain very light spoilers.
Story: 8/10
The story begins with a new butler and a new "insane" master. Alois Trancy hurts his maid badly and Claude...does nothing. It starts dark and kind of confusing but as it progresses, questions are answers
...
and ideas are explained.
However, the second episode--which shows more of Sebastian and Ciel-- is mostly filler, but it also gives more background, sort of, of what happened at the end of Season One.
Alois and Ciel meet and there's an instant rivalry between both the butlers and the masters. Alois wants Ciel, and Ciel doesn't want Alois alive. Claude and Sebastian do their best to protect their masters from each other, but things get a bit..hairy when they form a contract with each other. As this is a huge spoiler, I will not say the reason or description of the contract.
Art: 9/10
Kuroshitsuji 2's art is a bit lighter than K1's, but it still holds the dark Victorian-era style that we all loved. A few minor things-- that, depending on how much you paid attention, you may or may not notice-- were done to the characters, such as Sebastian's eyes being a darker red and Ciel's eyes being a different shade of blue. That is really the only difference though.
Sound: 8/10
I can't really say much about the OPs and EDs as I skip them in every anime, but from what I heard the first time, I did enjoy them. They gave the right mood for the series and allowed people to set into the feeling faster.
Alois's voice had the perfect insanity level that was needed to portray a character like him, and Claude's had the right amount of monotone that held just a bit of sadism. Ciel's and Sebastian's were up to par too, and even Grell, who is still only a minor character, had a good "I'm afraid T_T" voice when he needed it.
Character: 10/10
Alois has to be one of the most believably emotional anime characters I've ever come across, if not THE most. I felt so sorry for him, and just wanted to hug him and tell him everything would be okay when I learned about his past.
Claude.. Gah I hated him, but he did have his good [aka humourous] moments that made him almost likeable. Especially when he got into childish fights with Sebastian.
Sebby turned a bit more childish in this series, as he had to prove he was better than Claude, but his protection over Ciel increased tenfold. He unleashes his anger/jealousy pretty rapidly in this season, but he's still got a slight hold.
Ciel..the little bitch boy XD he does nothing, really, still, except get kidnapped and become something useful for Alois. But his awesomeness/bitchiness increases at the end of the series, which is good.
Most of the original characters-- the three Phantomhive servents, the old man, Elizabeth and her maid and a few others-- have returned but once again, they dont't do much. In fact, I think you see Elizabeth for one and a half episodes at most.
Enjoyment: 9/10
I enjoyed this a lot. It was fast-paced enough, gave a bit of fanservice, and a bunch of emotion that I wish other anime would have. It did have it's bad points, but what anime doesn't?
Overall: 8/10
I would have liked a bit more but as it was, it was still highly enjoyable and one of my favourite animes that I've seen.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a bit of humour, doesn't mind some obvious shounen-ai hints, and enjoyed Kuroshitsuji 1 so theyre not completely confused xD.

Hmm... I got bored and decided to write this. Also, pardon the fact i might have no T's or more than one. My key is broken.
anyway, Naruto is a hit or miss show. You either love or you hate it. I have yet to finish it, yes, [it's on hold >>] but despite that, I have been attempting to keep up with the manga.
Story: Kind of cliche, run on, and weird. but it keeps you coming back for more. Which is what good anime/manga are supposed to do.
Art: Not the best by far. It's decent at parts but at others, the characters tend to have
...
"Derp" faces, or noodle arms. There are parts, however, where the animation is almost flawless.
Sound: Narutos voice will annoy the hell out of you at first.. It will, but you'll get used to it. Same with everyone else's. The openings and endings are usually very well chosen, and the music used gives the right amount of emotion.
Character: You'll love them or hate them. Just like every character. But they do go through some changes that make them better.
Enjoyment: can't really say i enjoyed this. i loved it, i hated it. it frustrated me -- still does -- but it had the right amount of emotion.
Overall: it's a cute little series that i will probably rewatch. i'll most likely always have a softspot for the little blond idiot.

Rozen Maiden, how I love thee.
Seriously though, I adored this anime more than any other that I've watched. I laughed, and during the last two or so episodes, I cried. I couldn't help it, it was all so touching!
Story: 9/10. It's kind of cliche, with the kid getting teased and stuff and going into hiding, but living dolls that help? That's pretty unique.
Art: 10/10 Oh my goddd, I love this art. Bright and cheerful when needed, but also dark and stormy when the time is right. I do adore the outfits for the dolls, and would even wear them! The doll's eyes-- especially Shinku's--
...
held so much emotion that it was almost heartbreaking. The only problem I had were the hairstyles for Jun and his sister. I didn't like them at all.
Sound: 10/10 The voices for the characters were very fitting. Even Suiseiseki, who was shy at times, had the perfect evil, sadistic laugh for the Snow White "rehearsal." The opening song is very cheerful and it allows the viewer to get into a peaceful mindset.
Characters: 10/10. I loved every character, even when they irritated me. Shinku irritated me the most though but she definitely grew on me. Same with Hina Ichigo, the annoying four-year-old-appearing doll.. Her voice was just so highpitched [very suiting though, for her age]. All of the characters had their flaws yes, but that's what made them more realistic. I even felt sorry for Suigintou at the end!
Enjoyment: 10/10. I couldn't wait to watch the next episodes, and since I was watching this on megavideo, I growled at the "You have watched 72 minutes...." popup, and made Google be my slave trying to find other places to watch it. I am going to buy this on DVD as soon as I can, for sure.
Overall: 10/10. If you're looking for something bright and cheery, but still carrying dark undertones, Rozen Maiden is definitely the anime for you. It has its moments of boredom, but what show doesn't? But even despite that, it picks back up immediately.
Recommendation? Oh yes, even for people who don't like Shoujo anime, I would definitely recommend Rozen Maiden to them.
Rewatch? As many times as I can. Like I said, I'm buying the DVD.
Go watch, you won't regret it.

No. Just no.
One of my friends bought Dragon Half at Anime Punch and we decided to watch it on the way home, because our bus had a dvd player.
I felt my ears begin to rot at their voices, especially at the main characters. The plot was....ridiculous. It was basically a small chibi half-dragon that wanted to get laid by some random Dragon Slayer/singer. HELLOOOO YOU'RE A DRAGON. HE WON'T WANT YOU, HE'LL WANT TO STAB YOU! SOOO, because she's THAT DESPERATE to have him, she decides "Frick, I need to become full human or he'll never love me. -tears-." God....
I think the only
...
reason this show isn't forgettable is because of the squeaking and squealing like pigs they called "voice acting."
Seriously, this attempted for comedy and it FAILED badly. There wasn't a good moment in this series at all. The character designs sucked, so did the story itself.
To those considering this anime: DONT. Save your ears A LOT of misery...

I can honestly say this was one of those animes where I expected it to be really crappy. I saw it uploaded on Funimation's youtube account, and decided "Should I really watch this?" My friend Ryan told me that he was going to watch it, and I decided "Sure, I'm bored enough, I'll check out the four episodes loaded."
Needless to say I was stunned. Although Mihashi's constant crying annoys the hell out of me, he's still a loveable little character, and so is Abe. All of them have their own personalities, which I find pretty rare in most Sporting animes. The characters are normally
...
"FIGHT HARD, WIN!" but this is completely the opposite.
I've only seen about seven episodes before my [undiagnosed] ADD started kicking in, but I hope to come back to it as soon as possible.
The art, although not the best, is still very good. There are some scenes where you just wonder where the art came from, and others are absolutely amazing. The animation is absolutely wonderful too.
I do admit Mihashi's voice gives me a headache but it suit him quite a bit. It has the undertone of complete whininess. He seems to get alot better when he's playing baseball though, and the undertones kind of disappear making it even more enjoyable.
All in all, I recommend this anime to anyone who enjoys a good laugh, and a wonderful story that, at times, pulls at the heartstrings.
