fingers crossed Nintendo's multiplayer for Smash Ulti will be better. I know smash4 runs into connection issues if players are far away from each other. Not that I expect to play smash vs EU people lagless, but hopefully we can at least play within NA without issue... :')

Oof the one with the SSBU decal version Switch? Yeah that one's expensive, especially considering if you want to buy gamecube or Switch Pro controller since the default joycons suck for playing smash... :x

Traditional fighters seem to emphasize on 'true' combos rather than smash, which at the highest level seems a lot to be about 'reading' your opponent and punishing what you predict their next moves will be. I gotta say I enjoy that aspect of smash a lot haha.
Strange that you don't play Ryu in Smash, I think he has traditional fighting game inputs (even with his shouryukens)!
Gamestop actually had a deal that was $300 for Switch + Mario Kart 8 + $50 gift card (which I used to preorder Smash). But yeah... there goes all my Christmas/New Years savings... hope I won't regret it! :'D
Oh wow that's awesome, you must be really good at Injustice! I didn't actually know there were tournaments for Injustice, are they popular? I'm terrible at 'traditional' fighting games hence why I only play smash haha.

btooom - one of my favs, and is also a survival death game. mirai nikki lets players use personalized future diaries, while btooom gives them specific types of bombs. it's also on the same level of maturity as mirai nikki, so it's definitely not for kids lol
death note - has a strong male lead who writes the death futures, unlike mirai nikki where it has a weak male lead who sees his own future predicted and his possible death. a great starter show & pretty dark
elfen lied - i've never seen this show but i've heard the main girl is similar to yuno
yuno is everybody's dream girl... sorta xd. yanderes are hot tbh, but they're scary as hell
