Nana has probably got to be one of the heaviest and most depressing anime I've ever watched so far, it's a lot more straight forward with topics here and I like how the dialogue runs smoothly in each episode. Every voice actor did a perfect job.

I'm gonna make this short and simple.
I enjoyed the movie and characters, especially how outgoing the main girl is. It's sorta cliche tho, reserved dude meets 'eccentric and expressive' girl, *cough* "YLIA" and "I want to eat your pancreas". I shouldn't be complaining though, I don't think i've ever seen any other movie like this. Although I would have liked a better backstory of the catland and stuff. The magicalness and the cats give me modern Ghibli vibes. What really captivated me what the art, it somehow reminded me of a korean anime called "A day before us" with the light and darkish color everything ... Apr 28, 2020

Ah, here we go again. Normally I don't make that many reviews but in this case I should really speak my mind out about this anime. A few years ago I decided to watch it and the second season along with Ordinal Scale, I rated them all a 10 surprisingly. I decided to rewatch this yesterday just to remember the plot since I wanted to catch up on the series, now here's where it all goes downhill.

This movie is what touches my heart the most out of all Studio Ghibli movies, when I was about 5 or 6 I remember my parents buying the DVD of Kiki's Delivery Service. As I watched the movie I was so captivated by the animation and everything about it, it was like I was being pulled into another world.
