When i saw the trailer of this anime, i was very intrigued, i don't get to see a lot of anime like this one. It was funny, made me smile as i watched it. After watching episode 1 and episode 2, they were pretty good, but as soon as i got to episode 3, one of the protagonists by the name of "timbert robins" says something like an innuendo but sounds off putting where it's so random and unnecessary during the character interactions. There's much more to the anime but i hate side protagonists who'll say something weirdly offensive like something sexist, doesn't make sense ... to keep watching an anime with a protagonist who you'll keep seeing most of the time and hate him.

I like Sk8 cause it gave a fun vibe, all the characters associated share especially the competitive part was extreme to where it made me want to try out skating myself, it's truly inspiring.

The character relationships were also interesting, it even gave me nostalgia of 2012 where i felt like i would have watched this back in the summer at that time, good times too. This was the best sports based anime i've ever seen, the characters and story were amazing, it made me wish there was a sequel too. If only there were more sports anime that had the same kind of ... vibe as Sk8. to me, i say Sk8 is one of the best animes of 2021.

i liked how the story gave off a similar vibe like Danganronpa, though i feel the story could have had more detail on the history of Akudama Drive's world by explaining more on the wars or destructive causes that led to the ruins in some places. also, i'm not sure if there will be a sequel to this but again, like there should have been more explanation, like, who were the higher-ups who commanded the executioners? other than that, the story was highly interesting on the idea of how law and order in society comes about in Akudama Drive. most of the contents such as ... the characters were great.

i rated the story with a "2, dreadful" though "dreadful" isn't what i'd describe it, i personally say it's overall good, but in the sense of "fair". unless Akudama Drive gets a sequel somehow then maybe things will be explained at lot more like the unidentified higher-ups.

I had liked this manga for a long while where i figured for an isekai manga i could relate to cause it had a main protagonist who had a well focused personality and sought to use his martial arts for good. however, as soon as the 9th chapter comes, one of the characters whos the king and father of the princess who is on good terms with the main protagonist ends up setting something that could be a trigger to a potential love interest between the protagonist and the princess. like, i wasn't expecting a possibly love interest between these characters not that there was ... any to begin with. the princess sees the protagonist as a teacher and admires him for his martial arts skills and hopes to learn from him which you'd figure it would be like they'd have a teacher and student relationship much later on since the the main protagonist modestly says hes not sure of taking any disciples in the beginning chapters while dealing with the important issues focused in the story and its fitting. but to have a character ship them together by making them marry when they are on complete opposites makes me angry and annoyed especially if you're a reader who at least would like to read one action manga with a main protagonist that doesn't have a love interest at all till the end of the story's debut. love interests and shipping characters is overrated and unfitting and i'd like to read horror and action manga that doesn't have for cool, interesting main protagonists thats put in a romantic-like relationship with anyone especially for an isekai genre where most of that is done so many times.

ever since stumbling upon Jin Narumi's face on some site i was on like an ad, i'm glad i searched the origins of his official art work only to see where it turned out where hes from a Shonen Jump franchise. at first site and then reading the first chapter on VIZ media online, it was great most of everything was reminiscent of the popular Naruto franchise which was one of my favorite Jump franchises but turned into a more somewhat modern/futuristic-like version of it. the plot on globalization gives this manga a lot of potential to where it can have a big long interesting ... story ahead in the future so it's possible to expect more coming from the manga artist on this.

It has story elements like that of Dragon Ball when Goku meets Bulma (a human girl) for the first time and is foreign to many things outside of of his domain and it has a familiarity to that of One Piece's main protagonist: Luffy's personality and behavior (hate One Piece during the Zou arc) all which are associated with this manga's protagonist Shiki, and many references to Hiro Mashima's Rave Master and Fairy Tail (not into this series) mangas and outside references to games like "Dead by Daylight" and popular social media sites like "Youtube".

However, one down side to this manga after reading up ... to at least 44 chapters before i dropped it again, and doing some spoilers on later chapters, i started noticing the overly sexual appeal of the female characters which was making me feel uncomfortable, you'll see most of the fights in the manga scans where the female characters show a LOT of underwear shots, and manga scans showing them naked in different positions whenever they're in the bath. it's practically more of a hentai honestly, i don't know where Hiro Masashi's brain went after Rave Master but, Eden Zero is not a good manga to take seriously without the constant sexual content and male characters who even act perverted when they see the female characters look half naked most of the time.
