For the sake of those fried brains who are still on summer vacation and don't want to read a novel for an anime review like me, here is my attempt at a simple yet hopefully informative review of The Seven Deadly Sins- spoiler free.
Story
First of all, the main story plot is simple and straightforward. The main character Elizabeth is on a quest to stop the corruptness of the Holy Knights. The people who help her on her quest are known as the seven deadly sins. WARNING: Starting with the first episode, there are surprises and slight twists that may leave you in a state only
...
those who have seen the show can call, hypeness.
Characters
There are actually shockingly a lot of characters for a 24episode anime. But what I loved about it was the show did a great job to dilute screen time to all characters. Personally, I'm a huge fan of shows that consists of a team of completely different personality and ability characters. Mainstream examples of this are the ninjas in Naruto or the Strawhat crew. Each character in the show basically has his/her own ability that is super cool and it kept me wanting to see more characters introduced.
Art
The animation was on point throughout the show and they did a great job using vibrant colors to display the epic fight scenes, laidback moments, and character designs that are just pleasing to the eye.
Sound
I loved the intros and outros in the show, and the one soundtrack that stood out to me was the epic music they used in the fight scenes which reminded me of a mix between Zelda and a Smash Bros map/boss fight. (called PERFECT TIME). Also the anime begins with a short prologue in every episode that is super epic and gets me hyped every time.
Enjoyment/Overall
For someone who doesn't watch too much anime, the show did a great job providing endless twists and surprises, creating characters I grew quite fond of, keeping me entertained with awesome fights and action, and let's be honest, the occasional fanservice was nice comic relief and just funny to watch every now and then.

If you hate reading long reviews, I'll make this short and simple. Attack on Titan is an amazing anime and I loved every second of it. SPOILER FREE!!!
Story: Absolutely an amazing storyline. You have these human eating titans that has forced humanity to hide behind walls for a century. If you think the story is this simple, you have another thing coming. There were a ton of "HOLY ****" and "WTF IS GOING ON?" that you just have to watch and experience the mind blowingness for yourself.
Characters: Our protagonist, Eren, is determined to kill every last titan after a horrible incident. You become attached to
...
literally all the characters (except Armin at first) and the show is super messed up by just having characters introduced and to die in the next moment like swatting a fly. There were times where I would have an adrenaline rush and going "YESSS GO!" and times where I just felt so sad and like "NOOOOO!! WHY!!??"
Art and Sound: Absolutely amazing animation. Especially in fight scenes. TOTALLY EPIC!!! Loved the intros and music choices in different scenes. All great!
Enjoyment: Need I say more?!? Absolutely hands down amazing! Must watch!
If you haven't seen Attack on Titan yet, do yourself a favor and watch it. One of the best I have ever seen.

Raising a baby isn't as easy as some people might make it seem, especially if the child is the son of the Demon King. His urination has the power to flood the entire country of Japan, oh and make sure to stay within 15 meters of the baby otherwise you will suffer an electrical shock that will instantly electrocute the life out of you.
Beelzebub is a 60 episode anime series following the high school delinquent protagonist, Oga Tatsumi, whom one day sees a big guy floating down the river, split in half, and is thus given the responsibility of raising the demon baby, Baby Beel.
...
A pretty crazy way to introduce the anime right? Well that's just the beginning. Accompanied by the demon maid, Hilda, and the dimensional transporter, Alaindelon, Baby Beel has been sent to the human world to destroy humanity. But in order to do so,he must find a strong human who cares nothing of his fellow man to be his parent and raise him to destroy the human race.
Story:
I loved the story in beelzebub it was something unique and appealing to me right from the start and most importantly, lasted until the end. The anime carries an underlining plot throughout, but most of the episodes are really random and in aspect have really nothing to do with the story whatsoever. But, the comedy and the randomness of each episode was something I loved and made me keep watching. Despite many of these random episodes, the anime does come back to the story and later on the story even becomes a little more complex with new characters and obstacles coming into the picture. The ending did leave me a bit unsatisfied though for I thought we didn't see everything there was to see in which case some of the random episodes did get in the way.
Art:
The art was something I felt that really made the anime series enjoyable to watch. The character designs were done really nicely and consistently and it followed the vibe of the anime perfectly. For example, in comical parts of the show the expressions of the characters would fit the part perfectly making it much more funnier.
Character:
The characters in this show is what really makes the anime great. Oga is just this badass first year student who beats the crap out of anyone who messes with him all while doing so with the lovable cute demon baby on his back. We have our typical anime best friend to the main character who is a creepy pervert who has gotten into some of the most hilarious situations making me laugh countless times. Even the supporting characters like other delinquents and Oga's family were great. As you can tell by now this isn't really the anime to be taken seriously so character development isn't really a big concern in the anime. But you do see Oga get along and bond and become like a parent to Baby Beel and as far as character development goes that's pretty much it. But because of all the random episodes there isn't a need for that at all.
Enjoyment:
If you couldn't already tell, I loved Beelzebub. It made me laugh a ton and I just wanted to continue watching the random adventures of Oga and Baby Beel and the rest of their friends forever. If you're looking for an anime series that'll make you laugh and is really enjoyable to watch then I recommend Beelzebub. Give it a chance, you won't regret it.

Allow me to start off by saying that the reason why I began to watch Deadman Wonderland was because of how amazing the manga adaptation was. Because I had set my expectations for this anime so high I was consequently pretty disappointed with its turnout. With that being said, let me jump straight into the review.
Story(8)
As you may or may not know, Deadman Wonderland revolves around the main character Igarashi Ganta whom is framed after a mysterious character, later known to be the antagonist called the Red man, slaughters his entire class. He is unfairly charged for murder of his classmates just because he
...
is the sole survivor and is sent to Japan's first privately owned prison, Deadman Wonderland. After this life changing experience, Ganta soon learns that he has gained an unbelievable ability that allows him to shoot his own blood (in the anime called "branches of sin"). Ganta uses his power to survive through the prison defeating other deadmen (other characters that can also use branch of sin) in brutal carnival corpses to one day hope to face the red man and gain his revenge. The story was something I really enjoyed about the series but because the anime is only 12 episodes long, it only contains the first arc (up to chapter 20 +/- in the manga). That being said, a lot of stuff was rushed in the anime making it not as great as it should have been. There are a lot of mysteries yet to be answered after the 12 episodes which hint a second season. But after seeing the first, you may not want to even see another season.
Art(8)
I dont really have much to say about the art other than it wasn't too bad. It has a decent amount of blood and violence which honestly was all I really liked about the show itself (besides the story). The blood was gruesome and the colors blended nicely with the atmosphere. The characters were also drawn nicely so thats pretty much all there is to say about that.
Sound(7)
The opening to the series fitted the anime very nicely. It did a very good job of setting the tone for the anime and gave you an early idea of the horror and psychological mental atmosphere the anime contains. I thought the voice acting was well done and the background music was fine throughout the series.
Character(6)
Ok so here is where the series begins to lose some major points. Let's start with the main character, Ganta. Ganta is just a pathetic, whiny, and weak character. Because the anime only had 12 episodes and had to rush everything, it didnt give the main character any time to grow. There was little to no character development and it was just hard to fall in love with the main character. Not to mention all the other characters in the anime had even less screen time. Deadman Wonderland had a good cast of characters with great potential but sadly none of it was shown.
Overall Enjoyment(7)
Overall, this was just another average anime series. I really do feel bad for all the manga fans of the series because this anime had a lot of great potential to be amazing. But hey, its only 12 episodes and if you enjoy blood and gore then it isnt really a bad choice to just kill the time.
