i love how the anime covers their lives from high school, college, and beyond. you can really see the characters grow. very cute and thorough -- it didn't leave me with unanswered questions and i was satisfied with how it ended. kotoko and irie's relaionship further proves: love is a powerful, mysterious thing; opposites attract but also one makes up for what the other lacks; and boys are ultimately weird creatures haha :P it's definitely one of my favorite animes ever and i recommend it to any hopeless romantic ^^
