First Part:
Even if its a really memed part, and it has a bad reputation, you can really see the genius of Araki, there are so many interesting things you can do with the powers and things that are presented in the story and the show always try to get to the limit of what you can do to win. This may look far-fetched without context, but in the world of Jojo where every plan has it counter, a fight scene turns itself into a puzzle, where only the most creative one can win.

OMG, this is peak trash anime, all the tropes that people make fun of anime are here, that's actually amazing. Gather in, gather 'round, we have: Sexual assault, deus ex machina power system, corny-ass dialogue, lolis and much more. And the boredom, the boredom I had watching everything, it was painful.
The only good thing the show may had was the lore, I guess. But even then they decided ambient the first season in a boring and normal medieval zone, at least make narrows streets, put some interesting feudal dyanimcs, but nah, just combine all the boring stereotypes and voilà, you got this anime. Such a wholesome and refreshing show. Amazing characters and dynamics. At first i thought i wouldn't like the character Mob, because his predecessor, Saitama, was too passive; but Mob has such an interesting mind set, and it makes me really happy to see him succeed.
This show really question, as no other, the classic anime trope of "wanting to be the best". And also helps yourself to understand that everybody has their talents, but that doesnt mean that you have to focus only on things you are good at, "everyone is not special, So you can be what you want to be" (Mob Choir, 2016) |
