KHR is clearly more of a shounen action story but the main characters are similar in that they both come form a place in life where they have nothing they truly love and feel like losers, but eventually find a passion and excel at in a fun and heartwarming way. Even though KHR may be pretty action based there are a lot of growing experiences and bonding incidents that remind me of the warm feeling you get watching ballroom .

Both are survival games with characters that are being manipulated into playing Both have a situation of total lock down inside a pretty messed up place ( Danganropa is a school and deadman wl is in a prison/circus) . Both have dark themes dealing with death and being thrown into a kill or be killed life style. Deadman wl is more graphic and bloody while Danganronpa is more psychological.

Plot is different but character development is similar in a few ways. In both you have the "wild type" girl who's really a romantic on the inside. And they even have similar hair styles. The main charactors in both series have similar points. Shugo Chara is more sweet adventure and Love Lab is more comedy. Both have funny main characters with similar personalities.

Same author and the characters are designed similarly. Instead of floweroids there are demonoids that live on carbonated water and human hearts that can infest their host. Flowernoid's live on sunlight, water, and human affection. floweroids is a little lighter but both are cute funny and cool :)

both have yaoi relationships and have allot of the awkward unsure moments as the couples never actually admit to being gay just kinda get swept along in the flow. Both have interesting plots and not just a bunch of useless lemon scenes. both have characters who play hard to get and think logically instead of suddenly rushing in like a lot of yaoi stories. - same feeling to them
