Even though the mangaka claimed that this story was never done before in my opinion it does give a bit of a tarzan feeling in the beginning. Other than that the story is great and he still manages to stay unique. The art is in my opinion a bit childish which fit the story but also very detailed at some parts. He really makes all the animals spring to life and the characters stay as funny and great as in zatch bell.

wizardy zeo is a nice typical shonen manga. the manga gives this feeling of being done before and yet unique. becaus the story couldn't continue it never really got to be diffrent from the other magic shonen type manga. so even though it is overal pretty good i wuldn't reccomand it, becaus it never really got a chance to shine and the ending will leave you unstatisfied
