What happens when some people gain supernatural powers while losing all emotions and remain solely with pure logic? In the world of DTB these are contractors. I found the series pretty interesting. Although slow paced to begin with as the story progresses it takes you with it. The story opens a lot of questions but fortunately they are all solved by the end and if you really like the story you can always continue with the second season.

actually i loved this anime!!!! the first few episodes i was kind of annoyed by the thin long figures but as the series progressed i think that there is no other style that would suit this story best! it has a great storyline which progresses step by step while analyzing each of the characters in full depth. the greatest part about this series is that it leaves you wanting for more which is an essential for me.
i would DEFINITELY suggest this to anyone who is looking for a nice series to watch!

to be honest i was not impressed. if anything i was actually left with a bitter feeling. i understood that there must be a deeper story and a much more interesting plot going on in the sound novel, but the anime was quite disappointing. the story is not very clear, there is not much suspense or horror and the characters seem to have no background whatsoever. after higurashi my expectations where sky high but this one lacks something. maybe more episodes or more seasons would have allowed the plot to unravel in a much more comprehensible way and give the chance to the extra
