Ahh, the Milky Way. You'll only be so lucky to see it if it's on a clear night, away from city lights. However, some people might not know that, according to legend, the Milky Way separates two lovers from meeting. They can only meet on one day of the year. So, what happens if the one person you've been very close to since, well, forever, moves away and (Spoiler alert: cuts off all means of contacts with you?) People go in and out of our lives for a reason, but sometimes, is it really for the best? This review is based entirely on MY opinion,
...
so I'm sorry if it isn't what you were thinking when you read it. I also apologize if this review was off-putting.
Story - 8
I have to tell you beforehand. The story is what usually what I take in the most account for when I review. Also, to be honest, if I can't really relate much to the story, then I'll most likely not enjoy it as much as I want to. Anyways, I thought the story was very short and sweet. Childhood friends, one of them falls in love with the other and secretly doesn't say anything. The other childhood friend's feelings can be up to your interpretation. It got right to the point.
Art - 7
The art was pretty good. I didn't pay too much attention to it. It was just good. There were lots of dark shades, which is not what I normally see in the manga that I usually read.
Character - 7
WOW. Well, for starters, the main heroine (Sayo) didn't piss me off too much like those cliche and helpless characters you typically see in shoujo manga. Though, I gotta tell you, there was some crying there, and it was not me with the waterworks. The guy character seemed (Nao) to have that older brother complex at the start of the story. But, towards the end, well, you can figure that out. In the beginning, I didn't understand why Nao (Spoiler alert: cut off all means of contacts with Sayo.) But, I soon understood, and, I couldn't really blame him.
Enjoyment - 8
This is based on my enjoyment at the time that I read this manga. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Why? I'm usually a sucker for one shots or shorter series. I prefer less chapters because I like to finish what I read, and I don't have time to read a lot of chapters (though I would really LOVE to read longer series). The story was straight to the point, the art was decent as well as the characters, so I enjoyed the manga.
Overall - 8
Good job to the mangaka! *claps* I liked it. If you have a little bit of spare time, consider reading this short series. It's not like a HUGE and really great manga or anything, but it was cute and will probably give you a nice feeling inside your heart. Unless I'm overly emotional. Then I apologize. Enjoy! ^^

I'm a big fan of Ms. Risa Konno's manga, and this manga basically screams love triangle, and if you're a fan of them, this is a pretty good read. I mean, for a while, I had NO idea who the main heroine was going to end up with, and let's just say that by the end of the manga, I think you'll be satisfied, because I sure was!
Story;
+8/10
Girl meets guys, girl gets closer to both guys, one guy is nice, and the other guy is cold at first, but gradually warms up to her. I live for love triangles. Just kiddingggg. But this is
...
one of the first manga that I've never really known (from the first chapter anyways) who the girl is going to end up with. I'm really fond of Ms. Konno's stories, so I was pretty pleased with this one. I don't want to spoil anything, but I think this story was better than most shojo manga, even though it's kind of a cliche itself. Just 5 chapters! Shoutout to Ms. Risa Konno for making it 5 chapters instead of a one shot, because I don't think I would've been a very happy reader if it only had one chapter.
Art;
+8/10
Ms. Konno's art is always nice and clean. Similar to your modern manga art. You can tell the guys apart. Not really what I'd call bishounen but VERY close.
Character;
+8/10
You've got your cold guy, and you've also got your happy-go-lucky guy. Who will the confused girl end up with? I liked how Ms. Konno delved into one of the characters, but I also would've liked to see her go more in deph with the other characters as well. Overall, I've grown to like the characters throughout the 5 chapters I've read.
Enjoyment;
+8/10
Though it's an 8, I would've liked to give it an 8.5, but I feel that 9 is a bit much, so I guess 8 will do. This manga is a good read if you want a sweet and simple story about a love triangle.
I hope you enjoy reading this manga!

My Hero. Sounds like a cliche title doesn't it? I'm not sure how I stumbled upon this, but I'm glad I did! I'm just basing this on the 7 chapters I read, because I could not for the life of me find the LAST chapter. Brb, gonna go cry.
Anyways,
Story;
+9/10
It was incredibly light-hearted and just plain hilarious some parts! I actually chuckled a few times, too. I don't think I've laughed this much at a manga before. This story had a good feel to it, and I think the author did a fantabulous job with it!
Art;
+9/10
I really liked how this time, this guy is not
...
the bishounen like most of the guys in mangas usually are. Though he's not a bishie, he's just adorable and I actually envy the main girl T___T . The art was to my liking, yes!
Character;
+10/10
I loved the characters in this! I especially liked the male lead's grandpa, haha too funny! (Gotta read it to laugh, hehe.) The girl was nice, and the male was just greeeat! I should stop fangirling over him now should'nt I?
Enjoyment;
+10/10
I really enjoyed this manga! I haven't read a good one in a long time and I think this manga really deserves more credit than it should
I hope you enjoy reading this manga as much as I did!

Ever confessed your love to the wrong guy? Turns out this situation turned out for the (Spoilers, won't say :P)
Cliche heroine, cold-hearted (or is it coldhearted?) guy, ridiculous situations and you've got yourself a typical shojo manga!
Story;
+8/10
I'm not sure if I have seen this type of story yet, so I just gave it an 8, mostly because of the situation, haha!
Art;
+7/10
Art was different from what I usually see drawn, but hey, art is art!
...
Character;
+7/10
I wasn't really fond of the guy because he was SLIGHTLY too cold and rough with the girl, and I tend to go gaga over those outgoing and adorable bishies, but that's just my opinion!
Enjoyment;
+7/10
To be quite fair, I enjoyed some bits of this manga. Forgive me, but I decked off points because of the male character, and the not-my-type-of-art (I think because it's not like the modern manga we see today), and other parts of the story that I felt was, well, not enjoyable for me.
Overall;
+8/10
Despite giving out 7s, I still felt this was an OK manga to read if you want a cliche manga.
Hope you enjoy reading this manga!

Mod Note: This review was initially posted for the one-shot, Shinobigoto, and was subsequently merged into Boku no Hitsugi de Bansan wo.
This is my first review so please bear with me, thank you!
Shinobigoto is about a girl who meets a ghost in a pond who died because (can't say, spoilers). Chiya weirdly resembles the ghost's lover, so naturally, he would "follow" her around. I felt that the whole story was fitted into a one shot quite well. This is a good manga to read if you want to pass time and it's definitely unique to anything I've ever read. 8/10
Hope you enjoy reading this one
...
shot!
