I'm going to keep this short because I don't think I'll ever be able to capture my thoughts and feelings about this manga correctly. I will not include any spoilers, so that is also going to be one of the reasons why I'll keep this short; I'm not even going to try to vaguely describe what I thought about the major story arcs. I do wonder what this series would've become if Gotouge would've been able to end it like they would've wanted to - I read that they were kind of forced to wrap the story up quickly because of some reasons. (from what
...
I gathered, they were personal)
So, I got into this manga pretty late; the final major story arc had already begun, but thanks to this series being quite short, I easily read the +100 chapters in a week. It also helped that I knew what the start was going to be like since I already watched the anime; I already knew most of the characters, I already cared about them, I knew the setting and the world, so it was easy to get into it, even though the story moved surprisingly fast paced (compared to other shounen mangas I've read).
The story of Kimetsu no Yaiba is gripping, though at first I thought it was too cliché. Tanjiro, no matter what anyone says, is one of my favorite main characters ever because he's kind. I get that many people don't like that (for who knows what reason), or think that he's boring because he's kind, but in my opinion, it's his greatest quality. Despite everything, Tanjiro remains kind, he grows and changes, but he always remains who he is; a kind boy who loves his family. It's Tanjiro's kindness that makes the story of KnY so good; he is, in a way, rebelling against the world where literal demons exist. Kill demons? Okay, but we're gonna save the ones we can.
Tanjiro's willingness to listen, to help others is, in my opinion, the core of this series because in a cruel world where your loved ones die; people are out to get you; evil does its best to bring you down, being kind, even to those the world tries to convince you that they don't deserve kindness, is the most powerful thing in the world. It might even save it.

In short: Ao no Exorcist is your typical shounen anime; good, but nothing amazing.
The story is actually interesting; Satan's son becoming an exorcist so that he can defeat his father? Magnificent! If done well, that is, which was not really done here. The story is extremely fast paced; big character developments happen in the span of one episode, the last story arc of the first season is sloppy with the main villains, and important information is spoon-fed to viewers. I really would have wanted to see the relationships of the characters actually grow on screen (considering all the drama that happens with the main
...
character being son of Satan), instead of the conflicts resolved at the end of episodes.
Art is good, I really love the flame animations, though it's kind of your typical early 2010s shounen anime style. It didn't affect my enjoyment of the anime, but in some serious scenes I just laughed because of the poorly drawn characters.
Not much to say about music; the openings and endings are all good, and the background music fits well in scenes.
Now, characters. Most of them can be descried by; meh. Rin, the MC, is your typical shounen protagonist; extremely powerful than the rest even without training much, kind of idiotic with lofty goals. His twin, Yukio, is the basic serious brother with glasses. Rest of the supporting characters are pretty much inept in the final battle, even though we've been told throughout the series that friendship is what kills the bad guy. All of them are there to just bring out different qualities in the MC, but I'd like to point out Shiemi since she's one of my least favorite character. She does absolutely nothing, except yell out Rin's and Yukio's names. Take her out of the story and nothing changes, but that can be said about most of the supporting characters. Also, I cannot take Shura seriously when she's dressed like that.
That being said, I did enjoy this. Sure I did have my expectations a bit too high since this anime seems to be always brought up when talked about shounen, but like I said, it's your typical shounen anime. Nothing amazing.

I just finished watching the season finale so my thoughts are all over the place so I apologize if this isn't going to be a good review. So,
Is Haikyuu!! second season worth to watch? Hell yeah.
Is Haikyuu!! second season better than the first one? Hell yeah.
What improved in Haikyuu!! second season? Hell yea- I mean, everything.
So, the season has two stories in it; the summer training camp during the first half of the season, and then the tournament games in the second part. Objectively I enjoyed the latter episodes more, but personally I enjoyed the summer camp more because I didn't have mixed feelings about
...
it. Just boys having fun and training together - who doesn't love that? Really wished there would've been more of it, really. So yeah, the story was well paced and didn't have any glaring plot holes.
Art style has stayed the same and true to manga, but the camera work has gotten a lot better. Really no complaints here. The voice acting was already great, but that too has improved greatly from the first season.
Since Kageyama and Hinata are the main characters, they obviously have character arcs in every season, but it was nice to see others get their character development arcs in this season, and even though they only lasted like an episode or so, they were able to tell everything we needed to know in such a short time without feeling like it was rushed.
Did I cry while watching this season? Yes, and most of the time it wasn't because of I was sad but because I was so proud of the characters. I usually have a hard time watching anime, even when I really love it, because I get so stressed about what's going to happen, and while that certainly happened while watching Haikyuu!! second season, I always had to click to the next episode. I couldn't stop watching more and more.
So overall, Haikyuu's second season is a great improvement from the first one, and I can't wait to watch the next season, as well as all of the OVAs and stage plays. I highly recommend this anime to anyone who's not sure if they will like a sports anime, because while the story is concentrated around volleyball, it's the characters that make this show so loved.

I don't know why I kept putting off watching this anime, even when I heard so many good things about it. But, I suppose it was worth the wait, as I greatly enjoyed this. I am a sports fan, though not a volleyball one, so when I first heard about a manga (and then anime) about the sport, I was wondering how they could make it interesting enough for non-sports people to enjoy it, or even write a story that's not "the protagonists always win" type, but man, they did it. Also, like, I'm always down for rivals-to-teammates-to-friends type of stories.
To get these two
...
out of the way first; music was good, nothing amazing, and I really enjoyed all of the openings and endings. The art, sure, isn't as good as in many other animes, but it has its own charm - I think.
I think the story of the first season is paced very well, as the main part of it happens in the span of about three months. We weren't bombarded with character stories after another, and when they did give us backstories, they either didn't tell us everything all at once and spanned it out, or just made it short which fit with many of the characters.
Now, I really love all of the characters in Haikyuu!!. What I really love about this anime, is that they show the reality of the competitive sport; that even though the protagonists are the underdogs and want to win, so do their opponents. Even after winning, I couldn't fully celebrate as they showed the defeated faces of their opponents, with few words and images showing their grief of losing.
This is a very good anime, one that I really do recommend others to at least give a chance to. Since it's a sports one, it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but you never know until you try. I will definitely watch the future season and movies, as well as start to read the manga when I get the time.

Is Durarara!! a good anime? Yeah, but don't expect much. Do I think it deserves all the praising people are giving it? Kinda. The reason why I started to watch this anime was because a lot of people have been talking about it for years ever since I became part of the anime community. I had quite high hopes for it since it's good rating, but as I watched it, I wasn't all that impressed.
TL;DR: at the bottom.
So, let's first start with the story. When I first heard about this anime, I thought it was heavily focused on supernatural and mystery themes, and how
...
they're dealt with modern society, because a headless "Black Rider"? Sign me up! But as the story went on, it turned more into dealing with gangs- a surprise, but I don't really mind it. I don't think I've watched an anime before that dealt with gangs so openly. But, it still felt a bit off. There were some good plot twists here and there, but the story was kind of all over the place, and then finished up some storylines just like that. Things make sense after you've watched all of the episodes, but it's very anticlimactic and feels very half-assed.
Now, the art. It's okay- Durarara!! is a 2010 anime, and I'm used to the animation style of 2015 and 2019, so. At first I was really put-off by the "strangers are all just grey people", but as the story unfolded, it made a bit more sense.
Music in this anime is good, almost great even. The openings and endings are great, I rarely skipped them.
Characters of this anime are.... "eh". Some of them are good, but majority of them are just... bland, and kind of stupid. The only characters I actually like are Shizuo, Kadota and Semyon. Others seem like way too pretentious, especially Izaya. He's just so annoying. I get the kind of character he's supposed to be like, but his pretentiousness is just way too high, and the fact that he basically comes up top all the time, really ruins the "intelligent mastermind" character he is. Also the way he always over-explains everything is annoying and really makes the story seem bland, but this happens with many of the other characters when they just reveal the plot and all the little meanings that the viewers were supposed to already know. They also introduce so many characters at once and then expect us to remember that one guy that showed up on like episode 1 and was only mentioned on the last episodes, is just too much. I actually remember most of the characters' names, but only because they've been on the screen so much.
Side note; the way some of the characters acted just really grinds my gears. I'm all about duality in characters, but some of the things that the characters accept and are okay with just blows my mind. I don't wanna give spoilers so I have to leave it this vague, but just... Do none of them have common sense?
So, overall, I did enjoy, at least a little bit, watching Durarara!! It's concept is extremely interesting, but they just half-assed everything which really sucks because if they'd just improved with the story and the pacing of the story, it could be a lot better. This has so much potential, and I hope that they will do a better job with the second season, which I'm going to watch.
TL;DR: an okay show with lots of potential, but half-assed so much.

Given is a touching story about love and music, and it's so nice to have a lgtbq+ romance story that's not super tragic with tons of unnecessary drama. Don't have much to say about this, I already kind of knew what I was getting into, plus I like shounen-ai and slice of life animes.
The story is very well written, like I said, no unnecessary drama, and while the pacing seemed to be off few times, it really fit the narrative well. The characters felt real, and not your typical personality trope characters.
I really enjoyed this anime, and I will definitely read the manga
...
and watch the future season and movies that will come.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is amazing and you should all watch it. That's it, that's the review.
jokes aside, this anime is actually really good and there's a reason why everyone's talking about it. The story is interesting and all the characters are really well written as they drive the story forward smoothly. The animation is breathtaking, not to mention the amazing camera work with each episode- I was really blown away how beautiful this anime is. The same can be said about sound, as the music in this anime is beautiful and is appropriate for each scene.
Even if you're not that interested in anime that
...
deals with demons, you should give this one a shot.
I really can't wait for the movie and 2nd season!

If you loved BNHA, then I highly recommend reading this. Not only is the story great, Vigilante does great word building for BNHA, even though it's only a spin-off story. We get to know more about the world of heroes, villains and quirks, as well as a little deeper look into characters that we already know and love from the main series.
So the story is good! Sure, it has its moments of plot armor, etc, but that's only to be expected of a action story. Not many things are rushed, and they keep the balance between action and downtime efficiently. The main characters bring
...
life to the story a lot.
Court Betten's art is one of my favorite manga styles. Lines are smooth and clean- nothing to complain about.
At first I was a bit hesitant about the main trio, as in many spin-offs the main characters tend to be a bit over the top and pretentious, following the same old script of stereotypes. Fortunately though, that is not the case. Every character has their own purpose in the story, their own story that sometimes crosses paths with the MC, but it doesn't take away from their stories.
I binge read the whole series in few days. I already love BNHA, so to be able to get more canon compliant content is great- especially since they show known pro-heroes in this! I've always been interested in their lives, but since BNHA's main focus is the kids, there hasn't been much content for them.

If you don't like slice-of-life, then don't watch this. Seriously, don't.
Now, I was looking for a boring slice-of-life anime to watch as I've been watching a lot of action and adventure anime, and because I am the way I am, I needed something boring to calm me down. So, Kimi To Boku was exactly what I was looking for. I really can't fault it because this story truly is boring, slice-of-life anime about school boys. I just didn't realize how boring it would be.
So the story... I think it was good! Sure, nothing big really happened at all, but some small things did happen
...
and that made the story go forward. Though, a certain character started to ruin the story for me, in the end, I really enjoyed the story.
The art style of this anime is unique, at least to me it is. I haven't watched a lot of anime in my life, but I've never come across art like this - not to say that it's bad. Sure, I like it more when there are a lot more details etc, but this art style fit perfectly to the story.
The music was great in this one, though it did take me like 5 episodes to start liking the opening and ending.
Now, the characters.... The main five boys? I liked them a lot. Sure, Kaname was super weird with his crushes and how he didn't fit the normal "i have eyeglasses so i'm the preppy nerd boy of the group" trope, but there weren't any times when I would hate him. The Asaba twins were even better! It was refreshing to see identical twins written like this in an anime. And while I did like Shun a lot, sometimes his innocence went overboard and surely no one would be that obvious. Chizuru was the energetic person the boys needed in their group, but his personality was bit all over the place...
Masaki gets her own paragraph because boy.... I. Did. Not. Like. Her. At. All. Like, I've never been into the whole "tsundere" type, especially if the tsundere is the young short girl. Because honestly, if you are mean to someone, they're not gonna like you! Sure, she did get a little nicer towards the boys in the end, but man, I always sighed so much whenever she was on screen. Plus, her relationship with Shun seemed more like a brother and a sister, than any sort of romantic type. I truly hoped that she would be better in the second season, but from what I've heard...
But even through all that, I did enjoy the show. It definitely was what I was looking for. So overall, Kimi to Boku is a good show - but only if you like slice-of-life genre. I was thinking about watching the second season, but from what I've heard... well, it's not on my priority list.

TL;DR: Story was a lot better and darker than the first season, the characters got a bit better, and overall improved from the first season.
Story: 8/10
The thing about BSD is that while they give us information, it always feels like they're just scraping the top. Everything goes over so fast, and they don't really let the plot thicken. Some things are just glossed over, even though I feel like they were important for the story. It was interesting to see that the saying "my enemy's enemy is my friend" was implemented here, though only for a short time. They also did give us a little
...
sneak peek of what's going to happen in the future season; already setting up the plot for it.
Art: 7/10
BONES studio has many talented artists; but in BSD it seems like they aren't putting their A game. It's still very pleasant to look at, especially the backgrounds, but in those super serious and badass moments when the characters are yelling, and truly speaking from their hearts, their facial expressions don't match. The emotion that their words have rarely match their faces.
Sound: 9/10
Sound is not that hard to mess up, but BSD really knows when to drop the beats. I don't have that much to say about it, other than the OST is great as usual.
Character: 7/10
The characters did improve from the first season, but like in many cases, their characters arcs were over so fast. The first few episodes did amazing job, but they only dig deep onto three characters, and that's it. For the rest of the season we got to see some nice character development, but to me they did them too quickly - though that might be because there was only 12 episodes.
Enjoyment: 8/10
I did not have any "what the hell is happening? this doesn't make any sense!" moments! I didn't outright cackled, but I did laugh in few occasions. Didn't cry, but some of the scenes did hit me deep. I really wanted to finish this fast because the story was good and intriguing.
Overall: 8/10
It's a good second season. I was glad to see the character development, and that they didn't just go directly to the "we have a common enemy so we're best friends now", but stuck with the characters' personalities.
