As a manga reader, I had very high hopes for the anime. The manga was full of life and was beautiful with fantastic characters. I think the anime had a lot of potential and could have been much strong if they stuck to the source material more. If I was just an anime watcher, this would probably score higher. However, I know what could have been and so it's hard to score it separately from the manga.

Haikyuu is a show I put off watching because I was sick and tired of sports animes. The enormous amount of shipping I had seen in the fandom for the show made me think it was going to be three seasons of queerbaiting just like Free!. I was pleased beyond belief to find that it wasn't the case at all.

Seraph of the End is horribly predictable with characters that are just downright unlikeable. I won't bother writing a summary because all you need to do is picture the most stereotypical anime plot you could think of, add vampires for the enemy and you have this show. Not to mention, they spoil the main plot twist in the opening of the show (which goes down in my book as one of the worst ops I've heard or seen). The art is well done in the sense that the characters and scenes are pleasing to look at but some of the animations feel choppy and rushed ...
