Stupid busy? i take it you meant busy and not stupid :)
Nice to see you are still reading/watching anime because i was beinging to think you've lost it but it wouldnt be a surprise since you're at uni and all. How is Ultimate!! Hentai Kamen? any good? it looks dodgy :\
I've done a several computer science papers throughout my degree myself so i know what you mean. I found the classes to be harder with more workload and coming from a managerial background they were not at all cruisy as i spent hours in computer labs getting things done.
About me, after finishing my internship i stayed working in IT support. The intern was fun, it gave me experience i needed, i learnt a lot and even gave me a job although i not sure how long ill stay. I guess i could say im busy as well, worklife seems like its 15 hours of computer science for me, it makes me think back how relaxing uni was compared to this. Or maybe im just a very lazy person :)
I figured i'd drop some shit on your profiles since i haven't heard from you for years
So how is uni life? well mines about over.
I guess you have made some progress in your about section since the last time we talked, either that or i didn't notice from the very beginning although i really don't care less about my profile.
I just finished Blue Gender, initially i was expecting something much worse but it turn out okay. the first half was good and it kind of dropped steadily all the way to the end, the ending felt so rush, my evaluation - Great beginning, good climax, rubbish ending. Other than that if youre fan Clare's mainly voice from Claymore, Blue gender is a must see considering Marlene has quite a bit of screentime.
the phrase "trying too hard to be deep" doesnt really give me a good impression about Ergo Proxy, i think i might pass for now, ill pick it up once i have more spare time.
i started Blue Gender, the introductory episode felt like i was watching an animated version of starship troopers, im not sure what i think about this series.
Seirei no Moribito does seem like something you'll like. i enjoyed the series as well, the animation was awesome and i loved the characters especially Balsa and Chagum. Ergo proxy i havent seen, it looks like something that i might classify as a slow, dark, cyberpunk type genre something like Texhnolyze, both of which i wouldnt mind watching. Well anyway you can tell me if Ergo proxy is worth watching or not :)
I finished Kaiji a few hours ago, a game chance and gambling taken to the extreme. I never thought paper, scissors, rock could be that interesting. Overall it was good and something a little different to what i normally watch.
eh so i was right. Actually i haven't finished watching Aquarion, i put it on hold cos the source i had contained missing episodes which i later noticed i wasnt able to find them anywhere, eventually i just forgot about it. i might consider rewatching Aquarion.
Kara no Kyoukai IMHO the animation is pretty outstanding, lots of blood and murderous intention, i love it. After watching the Hellsing OVA this was exactly what i was looking for, it didnt have as much blood and action involved but the story is interesting enough to catch my attention. if you've seen Tsukihime which im assuming you havent according to your animelist, you'll most likely find Kara no Kyoukai much better.
the name sure does sound familiar. im not too sure if ive seen this one, is Aquarion the one where the three main characters look as though they have a huge orgasm when they threesum to pilot some mecha?
Well the last series i finished was Clannad. Considering how popular this series is, it wasnt as good as i thought i was, i guess i was expecting too much D: im about to watch the third movie release of Kara no Kyoukai, hopefully that will be better.
oh yeah Seto no Hanayome was pretty hilarious i watched it weekly when it was still airing, very enjoyable i must say. if you like Seto no Hanayome do check out Nagasarete Airantou, their stories are not exactly the same but it does gets you a similar feeling.
i mostly download from torrents and i don't normally use DDL as much so these kinds of sources i have are very limited.
i have to agree it is pretty cheesy seeing how they train in the robots but yeah its a good short series i enjoyed. gunbuster2 seems very different though, it tends to be more on the humorous side than that of gunbuster1.
thanx for suggestions. it would be quite interesting to read about young walter and alucard in the form of a girl. i was planing to read hellsing straight after i finish my other series as i usually dont like to read and watch too many anime/manga at once.
ive read quite a bit of Rosario Vampire already, i just havent gotten around to update my mangalist. though i have to say im not really pleased with the anime. they really should have stuck with the manga more thoroughly, it would be much enjoyable if they did.
since you've given me so much suggestions already its only fair to give at least one suggestion in return. heres my suggestion, since gurren Lagann is also one of your favorites i suggest you to take a look at gunbuster and diebuster.you could say this is where Gurren Lagann is spawned from. for me to describe diebuster, i would say it is a FLCL and Gurren Lagann mix. diebusters animation is very similar to FLCL while the story matches closely to gurren lagann.if youre looking for something similar to gurren lagann, there is no other anime you should watch other than Diebuster.
FLCL is insane, very hyper active but as insane as it is there is a story behind it. its aways good to rewatch the series for first time viewers for the series to actually make more sense. nonetheless i found FLCL very entertaining.
anyways since you have hellsing as one of you're favourite animes, i would like to ask you a few things about it. the OVA was the one i watch first and i enjoyed it quite a lot, so i thought i might as well watch the series but i didnt find it as enjoyable, not because the lower animation quality but because the series seems to be a bit draggy. i did hear that the story doesnt follow the manga as much as the ova does but the question i would like to ask is, to what extent is the series different from the ova in story wise? what i mean is does it get better and it is worth me continuing?
yeah and its growing too. i think you have the highest compatibility i have seen so far though it would seem more accurate if our shared anime is a little higher.
looks as though FLCL is the last anime you finished, how was it?
