7/10 eh... its a decent title if you rate it objectively, the animation/world building etc. its all superb, could be an 8 but my personal taste clash a lot with how this title works. The only major problem of this title is, the premise, the plot and the flow clash with each other, how? it generally feels and has the approach like your typical slow life yet it has dense plot to offer and the reason why this is a big problem is i personally couldn't enjoy it as both unlike a lot of title that could mix both, this one is hard to enjoy
...
the mix.
The only thing keeping my interest to not drop this at episode 3 and continue watching till the end outside of its good animation etc. is, this title know how to make good cliffhangers. When the the story starts to get boring, it ends the episode with unexpected Tyson's 1 2 punch of "this is kinda boring but if stop i could miss something that could be good." kind of feeling and after continuing it is indeed great, the fight scenes, dialogues and all but it feels rather empty and shallow for some reason i can't explain even for myself.
Now i start with my personal opinion, with my eyes closed i know its either the author or the director or could be both are a shotacon and a oneshota fan, and its kinda annoying compared to the bold fansa that is surprisingly the other way around which are not annoying.
Overall it's a good adaptation if i cast aside my personal problems.
Edit. the 2nd season is so fun and actually can mix both slow life premise and dense plot and became enjoyable. Episode 9 of the 2nd season is particularly the best for me. i change my stance and make this from mixed feeling to recommed. If you had trouble watching the 1st season like me, take the 1st season as a stepping stone because the 2nd season is where the meat is!

4/10 Bad adaptation with good animation, the problem is its just so unfaithful to the source by too much skipping good parts. 1st episode was a clear 8/10 when it came out because it pique my interest BEFORE i read the manga when it just came out, i continue to the manga after episode 1 because its so interesting that made me can't wait. After i read the manga and watch new episode after finishing the manga, its actually mind blowing how they skip a lot of beryl gardenant cool scenes. The massacre of the bandit hideout in the manga was so satisfying compared to
...
the anime which should've been the showcase on how strong beryl is. Genuine disappointment for the manga readers.
If you're that interested with this title, please read the manga, its so much better than the adaptation. But if you like this title and fine with the anime and don't have any intention to continue or read the manga, you can ignore my review.

Objectively this anime is only a 5/10 which is a bad average, but because of the potential alone i rate it 7/10. This rating could change for the better or the worse if the sequel can fulfill or exceed my expectations.
The art is clean, it didn’t took the new gen type of animation style, which is nice because its been boring seeing fantasy anime with the same type of generic style. Although i’ve read the first chapter of the manga before i watch the anime, the plot has made me interested hence why i watch it till the end on the first place.
The reason with
...
even the bad delivery to not make me stay to rate it so low is just because every character has quite good writing in the first place, world building was quite nice for a 12 episode that has planned a sequel even though it felt too short. The character and the Seiyuu are compatible.
Mostly the main problem for this anime is its main structure, the plot & story delivery. A certain person recommended it for me to watch and rate, but it failed to meet my expectation. I skipped a lot of the anime because its too predictable. predictability should’t be why i skip a lot, the reason i skip a lot is because the plot & story delivery is really bad. Yet, the character and the world of this anime has its soul and life even though everything felt shallow and simple.
To end this review, i’ll say that this series are not for everyone to enjoy but has its own potential to be great in the upcoming sequel to justify its 1st season.

6/10 just because of the last episode alone, and maybe the unique animation. it felt like i watch ishura 2.0 which are by far worse than this. Well, i review this series as someone who only watch the adaptation, so i rate the adaptation alone.
In the end, because of the X reveal, every plot twist, every buildup, every unresolved conflict just collapses instantly. The moment Episode 24 begins, the entire purpose of the previous 23 episodes loses meaning. If Episode 24 or X’s introduction had been the main narrative frame from the very start, the rest of the season would actually fit and the story
...
would have structural integrity. But placing X at the end makes everything before it feel like something that can be overwritten, erased, or reset, simply because Episode 24 is too overpowering for the season’s foundation.
A character with that kind of narrative weight cannot be thrown in at the finish line without destroying the balance of the story. When the strongest thematic piece is introduced last, it doesn’t elevate the ending it exposes how empty the earlier setup becomes in comparison.
That’s why the finale ends up killing the entire series. Viewers waiting for a second season won’t be thinking about lin ling, Zero, Lucky Cyan, Ghostblade, E-Soul, or even Nice. The only thing left in their mind is X. And when the audience’s focus is completely hijacked by a character who arrives at the very end, it means the structure failed long before the credits rolled.
Also this adaptation felt lifeless and emotionless, even seasoned Seiyuu Hanae Natsuki & Nakamura Yuichi can’t save how bland the characters are.
Well, in conclusion because of Episode 24 alone it doesn’t felt as time wasting as Ishura. so if there any season 2 and it has a great structural foundation, even with this kind of concept, i think i would make a great comeback on my book.

i fucking hate this anime. 10/10
A wild blend of comedy, naruto’s talk no jutsu, john wick durarara and Tarantino, Akiba Maid War starts strong with absurd energy and over-the-top shootouts. Its unpredictability keeps you hooked, and the lack of plot armor gives the story a raw, shocking edge.
this anime is merciless, its too real. how is it too real? it doesnt let you get a single chance to hope or process any fucking thing, at all. first you go “oh these.” the next frame “dead.” so what is the fucking fuck point fuck do i need to fucking process if all of these shit
...
happens too fast you fuckers. i got so hooked i didnt even care about anything else, i just conclude that i absolutely hate this piece of shit
fuck you and your maid shit, JUSTICE FOR RANKO

its bland, i agree with some of the reviews that says the power scaling is weird, sometimes the mc is an archdemon killing battle angel god of war, and sometimes he is struggling against mere mortal that has good fist lol.
But, the biggest problem for this particular manhwa is the pacing. sometimes its fast sometimes it slow, i also agree with the previous reviews, before 100 chapters the pacing is acceptable but after that the manhwa just go on full battles. its rare for me to say this, but theres too much unnecessary long and detailed fight scenes. when theres more fight than story it
...
gets boring really fast.
if you just only want to waste your time while turning your brain off, maybe you’ll enjoy it

10/10. I’ll review this as an anime enjoyer as well as a ex professional stage composer/producer/musician/roadman. Disclaimer, i will be more full nerd mode on analyzing the music. If you are not a music freak, maybe this anime will be somewhat tough to watch tho.
I’ll start with the best part of the anime, the music.
This anime is too good to be true. I’m a hardcore music enthusiast, not an elitist, i enjoy every genre i came across. From classical, rock, metal, folk, jpop/rock and all other genre and sub-genre that i can’t mention one by one because it would be too long.
I judge music based
...
on the composition, for me theres 2 indicators of a great music. Balance composition instrumental wise in arrangements and the amount of effort that the song quality is made. Quality is not just based pure on how its sounds only. but i also rate on how i feel “how much effort” the composer put to compose the song.
The songs from this anime has the most balanced vocal, percussion, guitar, bass balance sound wise. On par with Bocchi, as much as i love music and every instrument, i love bass the most on Jpop/rock because they brings out the full potential of the instrument. The reason i love hiroi kikuri’s SICK HACK.
Before i dive into the bass culture in Jpop/rock, i was a person who think RHCP bass lines was hellish, everything changes after i was focusing on the funk, fusion jazzy style of bass lines in Jpop/rock. Jpop/rock’s bass line is harder than any other genre i’ve ever came across. Tool is hard, Dream Theater is also hard, but they are PROG sub genre are popular outside if Japan. But outside of japan an outsider usually only know 4 Genre of japanese music. Classic, Ballad, Pop and Rock.
This anime not only incorporate Jpop/rock on the song choices, but surprisingly MIDWEST EMO, POST PUNK, some could also define SHOEGAZE. Usually i only hear classic, jazz, blues and particularly bunch of fusion in an anime with music theme. These few genres i didn’t even think to hear in an anime.
But to be honest i was disappointed that the songs only came in 4/4, theres not much variety except for the genres, but because of the variety of genre that exist in this anime alone i don’t have the problem with the beat selection.
The Anime,
I will only say 1 spoiler and its not really a spoiler, but the build up from emo poetry into midwest emo into post-rock WAS AN ABSOLUTE CINEMA. a masterpiece like Bocchi’s improv in their first live!
This anime is really well made, story wise, character writing animations. Good Job well done. Even though it utilize 3D CGI heavy, theres no sign of lazy animations. As far as i can see, theres few “human posture” that feels unhuman. Example, sometimes their arms hangs uncomfortably not very human like. Thats it.
How the characters feeling is well incorporated with the build up and a bridging for the songs is masterfully done. The vocal’s imbalance shakes when its emotional is very realistic. The first rehearsal being not good and out of tune both the vocals and instruments is very well done. This is very realistic amateur band situation on handling first gigs.
I thought i would hate this anime because of the heavy utilization of 3D CGI because i hate the recent adaptation of the Chainsaw Man and various anime that i scored with low numbers that heavily use 3D CGI when i’m a diehard fan of both of their manga. But i can pardon this one and can’t seem to hate this anime at all! this became one of my favorite. This as well with the sequel series is a masterpiece. This anime is its own masterpiece that incomparable with any other band themed anime.
This isn’t a simple anime with light topics, ITS HEAVY AS FUCK. i came searching for CGDCT bocchi like theme but i end up loving this anime as much as i love bocchi, both music wise and story wise. the use of emo midwest post rock shoegaze was an absolute tasteful shit i’ve ever seen.
I rate this 10/10, but i can’t rate this on par as Bocchi. Bocchi still number 1 and i can say this one is number 2 by a landslide even though they are both scored 10/10

10/10 its slow paced slow burner slow life masterpiece.
I’m not gonna score a 2 and call everyone out for not watching anime from pre-2018 and proceed to ridicule people for being a new anime fan like a certain reviewer that score this a 2/10 lol, writing all that damn paragraphs just to spout nonsense is probably just a dedicated hater LOL.
TMI, i am known to be notorious professional skipper. when its get boring, cringy or i feel its irrelevant and irritating i would just skip the scene to skip anything i find unneeded and start to search whats interesting.
So far, i haven’t skip a
...
shit other than the OP & ED LOL (chill i have my own rule to watch the 1st and 13th episode opening and ending to atleast know the songs). Mind if i tell you i just finished this anime in one sitting, watching this from satuday morning till night. And now i’m writing this review not even 30 minutes after i finish this series.
I’ve just finished watching Unnamed memory 1st season a few days ago, and maybe thats why i love this anime so much because of the disappointment i had with unnamed memory.
Lets get to the point,
It is as it shown at the disclaimer that this isnt a true story, its FULLY FICTIONAL. But, its fully realistic. In every kind of way, this anime is realistic.
The storytelling, emotion, pacing and how light the character introducions is but i still felt the connection it made between me and the character is indeed a classy masterpiece.
The story itself is already intriguing hence why the little background story didn’t feel like a bother. This anime doesn’t feel shallow at all. The unfinished conflict doesn’t feel a bother at all because the build up is so good i didn’t question any of the timeline.
I thought this would be the typical slow life medicine based anime like the usual filler anime that just fill the season in. But, its actually really different. It has the feel of slow life and chill anime at the start but the conflicts and the premise of this story….. ho ho…. ITS SO RICH and different.
I’m not confident in saying this is original because i’m not certain that this is the only anime that have this premise. But all i can say this is a breath a new and fresh air since a long time. Imagine detective conan in the chinese 15th century setting??? mind boggling.
The last arc was… tasteful… I love this anime as much as how i love Gintama’s Courtesan of A Nation Arc. One of gintama’s MASTERPIECE ARC. If you know sheena ringo’s song called crime and punishment, this damn hit the spot.
The characters.
DAMN, i actually can’t think of anything to write other than they are all well written. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Even the male mc’s cringiest moment wasn’t too disgusting because the female mc (maomao) FELT DISGUSTED AS WELL LIKE I DID HAHAHA.
Yes indeed some people may feel bored by the pacing, if you find this anime boring. Its safe to assume that either this isn’t your cup of tea or you haven’t learn how to enjoy slow pace. And thats not wrong at all. For an instance, maybe its not your time yet to enjoy slow paced adaptation thats all!
The animation,
Fluid, no clunks, physics realistic and smooth. No bother at all, its really good.
And lastly, if only you’re curious and read this till the end. I watch anime before i learn how to write, thats 20 years ago. My first one? Voltes, watched it on VCD player. Been watching anime diligently for almost 12 years. And no, i do not look like the so called discord mod. I go to the gym, and a fully functioning adult that touch grass daily.
This anime doesn’t deserve any hate at all. I didn’t pardon any of their lacks because i didn’t find anything lacking to begin with. This is a complete anime.

To be exact i would rate this with my first ever decimal rate review of my life, a 7.6/10. its closer to 8 thats why i rate it an 8. If you like Tensai Ouji No Akaji, this is a great watch. I’d like to say this is the somewhat i would call one of the predecessor of a nation ruling anime. I’ll break it down in a simple manner. But the major downside is the lack of depth to the story.
But first, i did genuinely underestimated this anime. I found this anime because of a clip and i start to judge this with “ah
...
another perverted harem op mc, let me check the rate for this anime”.
And then, i was surprised by the high average rating of this anime. This reason alone pique intrest in me to find it out myself. For me, starting from 7 above is a high rating.
Lets start.
Lets start with whats good about this anime,
The personality of each of the characters is bold with their emotions, which is something that i do indeed like. There is no annoying naivety found. Conflicts, like all the smart mc do. He predicts what the enemy would predict his prediction is and he countered the inceptions of predictions with his ultimate counter prediction HAHA, that is as mouthful of me.
i like how they set up the pacing of the timeskips in the anime. If this is a 24 episode anime, im sure this would be a solid 8 and would be a solid banger. To he exact, It has huge potential to be a great anime. But, it just failed to deliver its full potential.
This anime had an confusing start that overwhelmed me, a person who doesn’t read any of the description or summary of the plot. Why did i felt overwhelmed? Because the lack of background naratives that build the story.
The lack of narrative to especially the introduction on what kind of world was this anime about, whats the story behind the main/supporting characters, technological era. For me the adaptation was lacking in depth. Surely this is a fatal mistake for an adaptation, but somehow i can’t give it lower than an 7. Because i truely enjoy this show. The story is almost excellent.
But, its too easy to predicts on what is going to happen. The character in this anime is well writen, except for the depth of the background of each character. I don’t feel any bond made between me as the watcher with any of the characters. Compare it to wein and ninym, this anime is as shallow as it can get on creating bonds between characters as well.
I can still enjoy the art on this anime, its different but its not weird. It has good physics, the downside of it is, it shows blood, graphics and cuts but… theres no decapitation lol, so whats the point? stabby stabby and cut but theres no head rolls? cmon mannnnn, this could make it better.
Nonetheless, I don’t find this boring. I don’t feel like i wasted my time watching this so i’ll put it on a recommendation if you like similar titles like Tensai Ouji No Akaji. I will be continuing to their manga because i think its worth to continue to read.

Honestly, i’m a liar if i say i didn’t enjoy show. This is not for everyone to enjoy. Especially the WEIRDOS that GOONS over this kind of things and cant be objective NEEDS TO BE ON THE FBI OR THEIR OWN NATIONAL’S WATCH LIST.
Please seek a Therapy if you have immoral thoughts during the watch.
Story, Plot, Art, Writing, Pacing and even the sound effects. If you allowed me to continue, this is honestly more than a decent anime and it derserves the score 8/10
First and foremost i need to say that i did felt disgusted, blasphemous and it shivers me down to my spine. But,
...
i can’t particularly find any hate for this anime other than this diabolical relationship standards thats been shoved down my throat throughout this series.
My take on this anime is If it follows our modern legals it wouldn’t be a true medieval scene. I did still rate this a 7/10 because of my today modern day moral standards that went through a battle of heavy moral conflict while watching and also reviewing this anime. If i’m talking about plot and story wise, threw aside all of my modern moral standards i’d give it a solid 8/10.
Indeed its a fantasy medieval, we all know our own world has past like this story as well. It was the social norm at our medieval time, also anything that happened in this anime was also normalized.
As far that i can see, even the author/animator/publisher has their own moral conflicts by showing other than the MC and the Side Characters, the Norms are weirded out by the relationships of the royalties. It can also be a critique of our own world. Nonetheless i’m not defending this diabolical standards of this anime. All i say theres 2 sides of a coin, as i write this review i’m still conflicted and outraged with my decision on scoring this anime high, but the other counterparts i enjoy the well made anime and the comedy of this anime.
