The best part about flowers of evil has to be takao kasuga's character development. He starts off extremely unlikable, a gross, stupid pervert who causes much harm to himself and others. However i do feel like the first half is intentionally gross and perverted because that was the point.The first half is the reason why the second half's payoff is so much more incredible. Kasuga's growth from the first half only makes sense with that buildup I had no sympathy for him but when he moved out he had an interesting self discovery and romantic storyline that was amazing, Read flowers of evil for this
