One of my favorite this about this show is Nezumi and Shion's relationship, they nailed it. This anime has shounen-ai and unlike others' in the genre, there's actually development in their relationship and the whole show isn't just focused around it. Admittingly, I would have liked to see more episodes since it did seem rushed at parts, but overall it was very enjoyable to watch. I don't really care for the dubbed version of this because of how they chose to use Nezumi (Rat) and Shion's (Sion) name but that's really it because they did a great job regardless and I'm happy it got dubbed.

After reading all the rave reviews on this, I decided to give it a watch. I had been wanting to watch it for some time and finally got around to watching it today. Man, was I disappointed. Yes, the animation was quite stunning, in fact the landscapes were one of my favorite parts on watching this. The stories though, for some reason I felt like they lacked substance and were just there, yes I understand that it was about growing up and whatnot but I just didn't find this enjoying.
