The film follows on from episodes n°1029-1030, introducing the film's central character (Uta).
I strongly recommend that you don't make the same mistake as I did and avoid the French version altogether!
In fact, the film was completely spoiled for me by the more than catastrophic and disastrous performance of the person who sings the character of Uta.
The songs are completely dissonant, even wrong, with a voice that doesn't match the character at all. In short, an appalling under-performance, unworthy of such a franchise and utterly unpleasant to listen to!
I don't know who made the casting decision or why, but it's clearly a bad one.
Fortunately, the person
...
who lends his voice to the character during the discussion phases is not the same - a professional, no doubt about it. The performance is of a much higher quality, and this can be heard to the delight of my ears. This proves that voice dubbing is a profession in its own right, and in this case a distinct art form. That's probably why the singer doesn't do the character's dialogue!
Apart from that, the story isn't uninteresting, and it's always nice to see people from One Piece in alternative outfits.

Completely incomprehensible, this anime begins with six episodes centered on a supposed police investigation that lacks coherence. The next six episodes are 'independent' episodes with no connection to the two detectives' investigation, apart perhaps from the urban legend on which the series is trying to capitalize. And even then, they don't add a single new fact or revelation. The story is disappointing, the characters are bland, and the choice to mix designs that don't go together sometimes spoils certain scenes even more. In short, this anime doesn't even have the merit of being a complete 12-episode series, preferring to add more episodes for no good
...
reason, other than to claim a legitimacy it doesn't have. If the story can't be properly adapted into at least 12 episodes, then it probably doesn't deserve to be adapted at all. This represents an immeasurable waste of time, both for me and certainly for the creators too.
I'd advise everyone against wasting their time watching it!
A word to the wise...

Title: " Isekai Betrayal: Ruthless Critique of 'Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta' "
Despite its promising title, this anime betrays any isekai expectations within the first few minutes. The very essence of the genre, the exploration of a fantastic parallel world, is sacrificed for a clichéd romance involving a popular high school student. Isekai elements are confined to a negligible fraction of the story, leaving fans of the genre bitterly disappointed.
The misguided use of CGI during action sequences is a glaring disgrace. Despite commendable character designs, the series opts
...
for convenience, squandering moments that could have been thrilling. An inexplicable and disheartening decision that tarnishes the overall aesthetic of the anime.
In conclusion, "Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta" cruelly disappoints isekai enthusiasts. Steer clear of this series if you seek a genuine adventure in a parallel world, as it tragically loses itself in the depths of a tasteless romance. A regrettable waste of isekai potential and a disastrous use of CGI leave a bitter aftertaste that lingers long after the series concludes.

Season 1 offered us an exceptional experience, with incredible openings and endings, and high-quality dubbing that added even more depth to the characters. The animation of the fights was beautifully done, and the battles and wars were closely tied to a story of revenge, promising a perilous journey towards a utopian destination: Vinland. We hope to see this explored further in the following seasons. In summary, Season 1 presented us with a captivating and successful set of elements.
However, Season 2 is a disappointment in many ways. The absence of fights, battles, and wars has taken away the very essence of the Viking world. Instead of
...
pursuing epic quests, the characters now seem to spend all their time crying over nothing and digging holes, waiting for wheat to grow (oh, miraculously after 10 episodes, we realize that indeed the wheat grows well in the ground), which doesn't align with the Viking spirit at all. The story stagnates for numerous episodes, which is frustrating for fans who were expecting a continuation that would match the first season's level.
It's hard to understand why Season 2 was conceived in this way, disregarding elements that had worked so well before. The absence of fights and alcohol, which are prominent aspects of the Viking universe, is a very regrettable idea. Many other animated series have also declined in quality by continuing beyond their initial strong point, and unfortunately, this one falls into that category.
As a result, Season 2 was a considerable waste of time and greatly disappointed me. Although I would like to give it a 0 for this letdown, the lowest rating being 1, I will give it a 1/10, no more. It's a shame to see a series with promising potential sink in this manner.

"This anime's title might lead viewers to expect a thrilling series of adventures in the depths of a mysterious dungeon, but unfortunately, it's quite the opposite. From the early episodes, it becomes apparent that the word 'dungeon' is merely a misleading facade, a tempting bait to attract audiences seeking captivating explorations and puzzling mysteries to solve.
Instead, we are immersed in a narrative that seems more focused on social interactions and relationships between characters than actual expeditions. While some may appreciate this aspect, those expecting genuine dungeon exploration are likely to be disappointed. The few moments when the protagonists set foot in a dungeon are quickly
...
rushed and sorely lack intensity and complexity.
The disappointment extends to the characters, whose development remains rather superficial. Their relationships often come across as clichéd and predictable, lacking genuine emotional depth. It would have been more satisfying to see psychological progression and evolution in their motivations, but the story prefers to focus on mundane interactions and scenes with little impact.
The lack of a compelling plot and real stakes is felt throughout the series. Narrative arcs unfold without coherent connections, giving the impression that the writers are improvising as they go, without a clear overall vision. When plot twists do occur, they are foreseeable and fail to generate excitement for the viewer.
Despite these numerous flaws, the animation and visual quality are top-notch, providing beautiful backgrounds and well-executed action sequences. However, that alone isn't enough to save the anime from its monotony and lack of narrative ambition.
In conclusion, if you're seeking an exciting adventure anime with rich dungeon exploration, it's best to look elsewhere. 'Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II' doesn't live up to its initial promises and disappoints with its lack of narrative depth and genuine adventure. However, for those who primarily enjoy character interactions in a fantasy setting, the anime might still offer light entertainment, provided they don't dwell too much on the absence of real dungeon exploration."

I am deeply disappointed with this series, as I find it lacking in originality and innovation. The eight episodes are perfectly identical, which is simply unacceptable, as it leads to a frustrating and uninteresting waste of time. I had hoped to see this second season fully explore its potential by delving into more diverse and captivating subjects.
Unfortunately, the content offered falls far short of my expectations, squandering the promising potential of the series. There were so many possibilities to explore for this second season, but the choices that were made turned out to be entirely pointless and disappointing.
I want to emphasize that my comment aims
...
to express an honest critical evaluation of the work done. I understand that everyone may have different tastes in series, but as a viewer, I cannot help but feel that this second season was a major letdown and a waste of time. I sincerely hope that the production team will take into account fan feedback to improve the quality of future seasons.
