I gave Mermaid Forest a 6 (fair) for story. It was okay. Nothing too eventful or epic. But it was interesting enough. It kept me wanting to know what happened to Yuta and Mana.
The Art in Mermaid Forest was a 6. It was alright to be honest. Better than I expected so I was pleasantly pleased with the product. Sometimes a little simple, but a lot of the time it was nice.
Sound got a 7 from me. The music in this was possibly my the best thing for me. Really did enjoy it. That and the sound in general was good indeed.

Truly a gruesome story. One which will probably have many people hooked from the first 2 episodes, me included. That being said i feel like most people will come away from this either giddy and mind blown, or giddy from laughter and failed potential. I kind of fit the second one more. That doesn't mean i disliked the show, i actually thought it was pretty damn good. I just found it a little too ham fisted in some ways. Amazing anime. And one of my all time favorites ... hence my Cosplay lol. A bit of a slow start but it really picks up. Unique characters and new takes on combat and fight scenes. Recommended this to alot of my friends and its safe to say that also love it. Alot of anime are about friends and friendship but you really feel a distinct family connection in this anime and it only grows the more you watch. Check it out :)
