The fifth and final season of Shokugeki no Souma was a little underwhelming throughout the whole anime and was really running out of ideas. The plot was interesting but the characters they came up with were lackluster and just not making sense. I usually give very detailed reviews for anime but there is not much that I want to discuss since it is the fifth season of the anime. I just want to point out certain things. The soundtrack was alright, I did not really like the OT but I enjoyed the piano piece of the old OT in the ending of the last episode.

The ending. The ending I think was really good, bringing everyone together and giving the fans what the want with the relationship between Soma and Erina and the happy ending for everyone. I really enjoyed that. Erina having her family together was amazing and Soma still wanting to keep learning to be the best. I wished that they expanded on the other characters like Megumi. However, I was very satisfied with the ending but the plot throughout was just boring to me.
The characters. The new characters were too extreme for me. A chainsaw, metal juggling balls that go so fast that it can generate heat? I know this anime is extra and suppose to be crazy, but those Noir characters were just too crazy that I didn't enjoy it. A whole guillotine? Like I enjoyed the diversity but it wasn't good. I really did enjoy Erina's character arc that now she is fighting for her mother and for her to please her. Saiba Asahi's character development was also good but I didn't care for him too much since he was a new character. Soma's character development was also non-existence in the sense that I was confused about what he was fighting for. Erina? His mother? The ability for him to run his restaurant? I don't know but I still really enjoyed the characters.
Overall, I really did like the series especially the previous seasons. I just think that this last season was not as great as the other seasons and that they could've ended it last season but I really did enjoy this extra plot with her mom and everyone coming back together.

The God of High School was very well animated and with a great soundtrack, but with a lacking story and character development. The ending seemed to open to a second season which hopefully they will expand more on the story and plot. However, for most of the anime, I was lost with the plot questioning how is this that, and where did this and that come from. I really did enjoy it with the fight scenes and cool battles, but I was left with just that.

they started to add powers. I don't know if there was a background episode to explain how they got these powers and how to develop but it just seemed they just unlocked it randomly. I was also left with why the US sent missiles to South Korea, did they know about their charyeoks and gods and all of that. They gave a background to the Key and it's guardian, but none to the "monkey king"? Like who is Jin Mori's alter ego and what is the background. From what I can tell he is just a super-powerful being that can defeat gods with a magical staff. So was he reincarnated? Is that person a god himself? I have no idea, but what I could tell gods are bad. I was just left confused for half the time and I was just distracted by really awesome fighting.
Art and Sound: 10
The OT and ET are bangers and I constantly listen to them when not watching the anime. I love the music in this anime a lot. The animation is also very well done and it was very very smooth.
Character: 6
The characters were not shallow but the main character is revolved around saving his grandfather. Yes, that is an incentive and something to fight for but it is just not deep and connective. The supporting characters had more emotional backgrounds than Mori. Daewi's best friend is dying and he was fighting for his life. Mira is fighting to keep her dying fighting style alive wished by her father. Mori wants to fight just to get stronger. He has such a shallow personality of being quirky. I also feel like half of the characters were given nothing. Such as the purpose of his grandfather, Mujin, the other contestants, the prince, the Six. They were all present in the anime but given no background as to why. Their arcs were also super shallow other than Daewi's and Ilpyo's. They were given no time to develop as characters and did not give me time to build connections with them.
Enjoyment: 8
I did really enjoy the fighting and the action but that's about it. I was left not thinking about the characters or the plot. Only caring about the fighting scenes.
Overall: 7
To reiterate, I only cared for the fight scenes, music, and smooth animation. The plot and character development were very one-dimensional especially towards the main character. The two supporting characters had decent arcs but there are so many unexplained plot and shallow characters that just appear out of nowhere. If you like fighting go ahead and watch but don't be surprised if you get confused.

This anime is the first sports anime I have watched. At first, I enjoyed it a lot because of its intensity and action with just a sport compared to actual fighting. However, this third season, made me obsessed with this anime. This season specifically made me so emotional. I usually do not get that emotional with anime compared to other types of media but this one is one of the few to make me cry.

was a story of their hard work and many lost matches put into this final match to bring them there. The dedication of years felt by the third-years led up to this match. They wanted to prove everyone that didn't believe in them wrong. I felt the emotion, the passion, the determination in each character. I was rooting 100% with them, I felt like I was apart of the team. I was so immersed.
I really really enjoyed the character developments, especially with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. I felt like they really changed and that they grew as volleyball players. I really cried when they succeed in their goals to become better. Both of their arcs were amazing and it really shows in this third season.
To sum it up, I enjoyed this anime but this third season really kicked off my love for Haikyuu. The first two seasons were good but this third season just really hit it off.

This is going to be a short review since it is just two episodes I am going to break it down for each episode. Overall I think you should definitely watch Ban's episode. I think that episode is super good and gives such a good background for Ban and his past. The second episode is just short funny stories not that important.
Episode 1 (9):

puzzle pieces of the conflict between King and Ban together. I actually made me shed tears on how sad the episode was. I highly recommend it.
Episode 2 (7):
This episode was a collection of short comedic stories that do not progress any characters or storyline so it is not really that important. Some shorts are really funny like Elizabeth and Hawk's story and Meliodas and King's story. Some were just boring to me like the holy knights and some others. But it was still enjoyable in the end. It really wouldn't change you if you do watch or not.

So this is my first ever manhwa that I've ever read but not the first BL I've experienced. I have seen many BL anime and Killing Stalking is an experience far different from the others. It was half a psychological thriller and half yaoi. It was actually addicting to read and I couldn't really stop reading until I finished the whole manhwa. I will divulge in per each topic:
Story (8):

gave thrilling chapters and also romance chapters. They gave us romance and tragedy and always something interesting and new in each chapter. I was anxious and nervous on every page turn. There were some things I didn't like such as the ending but it was a really good one. I really liked how the story has led up to the moment of truth and climax for each and all characters.
Art (7):
I give it a 7 because of censorship but overall it wasn't bad. I think the way it was drawn and designed was detailed enough and had a lot of parallels. I really just wanted to see their privates but I think they didn't add it to put focus more on the story instead of attracting individuals who will use it to masturbate to. Sangwoo and Seungbae were very attractive.
Character (9) [LIGHT SPOILERS]:
I think the characters were really good but really basic. There is the submissive, small, shy, bottom, Yoonbum, and tall, dominant, top Sangwoo. Yoonbum has been abused throughout his whole life which made me unable to stand up for himself and Sangwoo was also abused but it turned him into a psychopathic serial killer. What I really enjoyed is the progression of all the character's pasts including Seungbae's. I really like it showing the twist of Sangwoo's past and I had no idea that would happen. I really wanted to see in this manhwa while reading it was a progression of their actual character. Sangwoo because nicer and sweeter to Yoonbum but he was still the same serial killer. I believed he loved Yoonbum but not because of him but because he was reminded of his mother that he was traumatized by. I wanted to see how each of the main characters balanced each other. Yoonbum was learning to face his anger and fear by becoming a murderer alongside Sangwoo and Sangwoo become softer and less of a murderer by Yoonbum.
Enjoyment and Overall (9):
I would recommend this manhwa to certain people not to everyone. I think this manhwa needs a certain taste for people to read. If you like dark and yaoi this is your manhwa if you don't like yaoi or dark stories then I suggest you look for another manhwa.

This review is from a person who hasn't read the manga before. I feel like a lot of the reviews focus on the comparison between the two which is fair but this review is going to focus specifically on the anime. To overall sum my opinions on this anime, it was a fantastic anime that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. This psychological thriller and horror anime had me in shock every episode with surprises and suspense. I basically felt I knew nothing about anything in a good way throughout the anime. well. I felt like Sister Krone was there for no reason if they're going to just kill her off like that. There were also some questionable things like certain escapes from certain children (Don and Gilda)(Norman and Emma ep1). I really did enjoy the animation of their faces and soundtrack. The story kept becoming thicker and the characters kept becoming better. Now let's get into certain aspects:
Story:
I am not surprised by anime studios that they make something so different to typical stories of other anime. I really enjoyed the complexity of the story and how events all led up to the final episode. I did see that tragedy coming. Things were becoming too perfect. I loved every twist that was thrown into the anime especially at the ending. I don't watch typical dark type anime but this one was really good. The story always gave me shocks and surprises every episode I had no idea what to expect and that is what I really liked most.
Characters:
The characters were kind of basic to me when first introduced. There was Emma the "hero" that can still achieve everything in her way without her will breaking. I really wanted to see her be pushed to the edge of insanity whenever that tragedy occurred. I was very pleased with Ray's character. He was always a wild card and the final episodes really gave me chills to what he was thinking. Norman is the mastermind which I don't know if he was "too smart" for the anime or he was supposed to be that smart since he gets perfect scores on his tests. Ray is my favorite and I feel like after every episode we find a new secret about him. Don's character kind of ticked me off with him acting so irrationally. He always frustrated me and felt like he was doing unnecessary things in the beginning.
In conclusion, this anime is an amazing psychological thriller that had me questioning everything in the anime and surprised the whole time. If you are looking for a mind-bending anime, then this is your pick.

Overview (TLDR):
Banana Fish is a fast-paced action anime with a crumb of BL romance in it. If you want to watch this anime for the BL romance, then this is not really for you. However, if you are wanting to watch this anime for the action then I recommend. openings were really good. The characters were amazing. They had so much depth and complexity within the characters I felt apart of their lives. I enjoyed it very much and highly recommend if you like BL and action but are not just here for solely BL romance. The first half of the anime was really good but the second half was not as good. I will break down the topics with as little spoilers I can with analyzing it completely.
(POSSIBLE SPOILERS)
Story (10/10):
The story was phenomenal. There was romance, drama, action, psychological thrills, and so much more. The dark aspects of the underworld such as sex trafficking, rape, gang wars, and murder were all expressed deeply and throughout the whole anime, I was always in awe. The first half of the anime had a great introduction to the main characters and build-up of the conflict and had tragedies and intensity. The second half of the anime though was kind of trying to be as good as the first half of the anime. It was a game of how many times Ash could be kidnapped and raped, to be honest. It was alright but still really good. I just felt bad that Ash was literally getting passed around, he did not have a single break to rest. The romance in this movie was immaculate but it was a romance with the label of friendship. I hated how they had feelings that were exhibited as something more than a simple friendship but still kept saying, friends. They obviously had such a stronger bond than any two friends could have and all the characters in the anime knew that. I wish they had labeled it as a romantic relationship and could make the anime more emotional in the fate between two star-crossed lovers. Star-crossed lovers would make the anime 10x better. Of course, I was still emotional about their relationship but then the BL romance aspect of this anime would have been stronger.
Art & Sound (8/10):
The art and sound to me were not that big of an impact towards the overall rating and enjoyment of the anime. The art was not displeasing and was similar to Studio Ghibli movies. The soundtrack was good but not impactful for me compared to other anime.
Characters (9/10):
I want to break down the main characters first, so let's begin with Ash. I think Ash is such a complex character and has great character development.
His character endured endless suffering and awful past to be greeted by this ray of sunshine named Eiji. As mentioned in the story analysis there is a "friendship" between Ash and Eiji. This relationship was way more than any friendship because of what they would discuss and their actions. Ash was instantly willing to sacrifice his life for Eiji and Eiji the same. They couldn't live without worrying about the other or being separated. Eiji for me was a little shallow but both of them grew because of the other such as Ash being calmer and Eiji standing up for himself more. Eiji to me was kind of a catalyst for Ash being such a great character in the end. The other characters such as Sing, Max, and Yut-Lung had great developments of character as well.
Enjoyment (10/10) & Overall (9/10):
I really enjoyed the anime a lot. I didn't make me cry as much but I was so emotionally invested with the characters and enjoyed every second of the anime (expect the rapey parts). I really enjoyed the impactful action and the borderline BL romance.

I think for me why I gave it a 10 is because of the artwork and incorporation of the film and how that makes the film so much better with the story and characters. I see how people can dislike this movie giving it lower scores. I am a sucker for romance and heartfelt films so this movie rates high for me. I might be overpraising it due to its hype but that's why I am writing a review to break down what I like and didn't like. a staple for all anime movies to match. I didn't like that because each of them has their own stories and expectations. They were great in their own ways, maybe one is better than the other but I don't think this movie should be marked down because it didn't have certain aspects Kimi No Na Wa had. Tenki no Ko was a spectacular movie with an amazing soundtrack and great animation. I will breakdown and discuss the topics:
Story (8/10):
The story was good, not fantastic but good. The relevance of Hodaka having the gun is kind of unexplained. I guess it gives him something the police need to capture him for. It gives him something to fight because he would be powerless against the police and the club manager. The magical aspect is new to me and I really enjoyed that concept a lot.
Art (10/10):
I love this art style so much. This kind of animation is aesthetically pleasing and similar to other films I have watched like International Youth. The cinematography of the film was spectacular as well. There were so many beautiful shots and the way the rain looked was amazing. I was amazed by the artwork every second.
Sound (10/10):
The OST of this film is immaculate. The soundtrack is the type you would listen to post watching the movie. Each song had set the tone for each scene and made the overall film so good. I was compelled by each song in each scene and I had to look up the OST immediately after watching the film. Each song went so well with the scene taking place and instead of dialogue, they replaced it with a song instead which was beautiful.
Character (7/10): [SPOILERS]
I gave the character aspect of the film so low because of how shallow the characters were. The characters were very surface-level especially in the connection towards the audience. We didn't know why Hodaka left his home and how Natsumi and Keisuke were so inclined to help him. I really wanted to know why Hodaka left his home. I wanted to see Hodaka's relationship between Hina develop more than just blushing and a ring. I didn't feel a connection towards the characters, so I wasn't emotionally invested as I thought I would be.
Enjoyment (10/10):
I really did enjoy the movie. I was nervous, happy, sad, hyping Hodaka up. The film really gave me a rollercoaster and I was thrilled on how the movie made me feel.
Overall (10/10):
I would score lower for the story and characters (like a 9) but the soundtrack and animation make this film so beautiful that the story and characters don't matter too much to me. I really enjoyed really watching the film and would watch it again.

I heard this movie was very heartfelt and sad which I really like. I just want to overview the movie and will go into each detail on each of the topics at hand. Also, this is my personal opinion of the movie. This is not professional criticism. Let's jump in, I did cry a lot and felt many many emotions throughout the whole movie. It was personally a movie I would probably keep to show my friends or future children. This movie tackled a lot of things, especially things that I am going through right now which is probably why it resonated with me so

well. It discusses the past and how we should learn and grow from it and how we are all human who makes mistakes. It is also beautifully designed with great animation and an amazing soundtrack. Now let's get into the topics:

Story (9):
At first, I thought that this movie would feature just a love story between a deaf girl and a boy, but I really liked in the beginning how it showed the main character bullying her completely throwing me off of the romance aspect. This movie also showed redemption failed and more realistic aspects that a person cannot grow without struggle. It also tackles more than just the two main characters romance and more topics of the friendship dynamic, especially between Ueno and Nishimiya. It did annoy me that Ishida did not do anything about the bullying of Nishimiya from Ueno when he was trying to grow from his bullying days. I think him standing up for her would've shown great character growth because I thought it was very sudden that Ueno and Nishimiya became a little closer so fast (such as her learning sign language). Overall, I think the story was great and not just a typical romance anime movie.
Art (10):
The art style is immaculate to me. It has nice details but still has a smooth animation style. I really enjoyed the visuals and cinematography of the film. Some points I would like to point out are the consistent use of multiple shots that showed importance of the film such as when Ishida is riding his bike to and from school. Another beautiful shot was when they were in the train on to see Sahara and it panned to their legs. It really showed the distance they still have to go before they are quite close.
Sound (10):
The soundtrack was beautiful especially that ending song when Ishida was crying. That really made the movie end very well (even though I wanted to know if they date or not). I also really liked the use of him plugging his ears and the noise washing away becoming silent and the parallel when he did the same thing at the end except he removed his hands so he can hear. I also really enjoyed all the subtle sounds throughout the movie in scenes (like the airplane).
Character (8):
I know this is the lowest score out of all of the topics but I will explain to you why. I really really enjoyed Ishida's character. I think I really resonated with his character and that he is flawed and not perfect like many main characters. They really gave depth to him in realistic thinking and his tendency to believe he doesn't deserve happiness because people who have made mistakes and messed up in the past do feel like they don't deserve the life they have. Nishimiya's character is a bit annoying to me though. They didn't really go into depth with her. I felt I didn't know a lot of things, especially why she was being so nice to the meanest people or why she was always apologizing to everyone even though they were in the wrong. I know this was supposed to be a type of character portrayal, but I really wished they gave us more details or hints throughout the movie instead of having her entire character explained at the end. I really wish I did see some kind of romance between the two though because I felt like at one point their relationship stayed the same and never grew past friends. Ueno's character was also interesting with her being the antagonist but I felt like she had feelings for Ishida but never acted on it? Overall, the characters, especially Ishida, had a certain depth to them I really did enjoy but some aspects of their character I did not understand.
Enjoyment (10):
I really really enjoyed the film. It really pulled my heartstrings and made me feel all types of emotions for the characters. In the beginning, especially, I felt great rage with all the characters which I think the filmmakers were trying to go for.
Overall (10):
If you want a good cry this film is 100% it. It really caught me off guard in the beginning but I really enjoyed watching this film and I recommend watching this film to anyone who enjoys heartfelt movies that will make you cry.

I was looking for a BL anime such as given or yuri on ice. I saw this one was apart of the BL genre and was also considered an action anime as well so I was very excited to start an anime with two genres I really enjoy. After finishing this anime, it was not as I expected it to be. There was barely any BL in the anime other than a kiss and maybe some borderline bromance but that was it. a little bit better. After seeing the first Rhyme fight I was super interested in seeing more of fights like that and such. But again, there was not that much action other than a few scenes throughout the anime.
I heard while watching this anime that this was an anime adaptation of a BL visual novel and I heard that was better than the anime so I would probably watch and play that visual novel now to satisfy the lack of what I couldn't get from the anime. There is also an OVA or special episode that brings the L in BL and the horror I read the visual novel had. The plot was cool and the characters were appealing and not as shallow as I thought reviews had said them to be. I just wanted to see more romance and action.
