okay, first things first, i REALLY liked this manhwa, i cried 3 times, i was really involved (my pfp is literally dooshik, the main character) and i really love the romance between jooha and dooshik, only it's not so innocent..
It's an amazing and unique story with a lot of steamy scenes. The artwork is absolutely stunning.
The characters are well-crafted, and there's some character development, though it could be more.
The funny moments at the start are fantastic! But as the story progresses, it becomes more intense.
There are some misunderstandings that make things stressful, but the communication between the characters is good, so it's not too nerve-wracking.
However,
...
it's not for everyone, as there are some disturbing scenes. If you're looking for a fluffy, cute manhwa, this isn't it.
There's a lot of sexual abuse and exploitation, which can be triggering.
The villain is a well-written psychopath, and you'll grow to hate him more with each chapter.
The ending left me a bit unsatisfied, especially because I'm not a fan of open endings or how Doosik behaved.
Proceed with caution and be prepared for some heavy content
(A LOT of smut btw)

(there is a little spoil in the 10th line till the 12th)
i started this manhwa in 2020 and i couldn't finish, a lot of mature themes and gore scenes are in involved so i had to wait a few years or else it's TRAUMA :))
If you don't like something, just don't read it.
But it's not fair to call a work bad just because it made you feel scared, disgusted, or upset. That's actually what it's supposed to do! It's meant to be creepy and disturbing.
"Killing Stalking" isn't for everyone because it deals with mature themes and has graphic content. But if you're into deep
...
psychological stories and unique storytelling, it offers a different kind of reading experience. The author, Koogi, is really skilled at crafting a disturbing yet captivating story.
I had to take a break from reading it after chapter 8 because, even though I usually like twisted romances, that chapter pushed my limits! In most stories like this, the kidnapper is obsessed with the victim and won't go too far. But in chapter 8, Sangwoo didn't even want to kidnap YoonBum. I was so shocked that I had to stop reading. But after a year and reading other psychological works, I went back and finished it.
And once I got into it, I couldn't stop reading! What's really impressive about "Killing Stalking" is how it creates a tense and unsettling atmosphere. After each intense chapter, I'd feel knots in my shoulders! Koogi's art really brings out the emotions of the characters and draws you into their messed-up world. The story has lots of unexpected twists and turns that keep you on edge, questioning everyone's motives and even your own sanity for liking them so much
ALSO i would not recommend you this is you're younger than 16 years old

Banana Fish was a manga that I couldn't help but judge HARD due to recurring annoyances, yet I eagerly anticipated each new volume. It begins with the main characters investigating the enigma of Banana Fish but evolves into a larger narrative involving crime syndicates and government corruption, particularly concerning Ash. As the story progresses, Banana Fish itself takes a backseat, with other elements becoming more prominent.
One recurring issue is the repetitive scenarios, especially involving Ash, where villains hunt him but must capture him alive, leading to a cycle of capture and escape. Additionally, the constant emphasis on Ash's extraordinary abilities, such as his intelligence and
...
combat skills, becomes excessive and somewhat absurd, despite occasional clever depictions.
However, what truly captivated me were the characters and their dynamics. Ash's vulnerability and inner turmoil, particularly in intimate moments with Eiji, Max, or Blanca, added depth to his character. Eiji, despite being seemingly ordinary, stands out for his empathy and unwavering support for others, serving as a catalyst for self-reflection among the cast.
The supporting characters, such as Max, Chun, and Shorter, each contribute uniquely to the narrative, with Blanca and Yut-Lung standing out as compelling villains with complex motivations. Even Golzine, initially overshadowed, reveals layers of ego and delusion that make his character satisfyingly nuanced.
The artwork, while occasionally humorous in its depiction of blood, excels in character design and setting, immersing readers in the world of New York City.
In conclusion, Banana Fish boasts a remarkable supporting cast and pacing, despite persistent quirks. The ending, in particular, stands out as a bittersweet and beautiful conclusion to a captivating story.

We begin with Tomie's funeral, revealing she was murdered and mutilated. Her teacher discusses the incident, only for Tomie herself to casually appear. Flashbacks detail the gruesome incident.
The anime's main issue lies in pacing. Adapting twenty manga chapters into twenty minutes necessitates cuts, hindering the horror's buildup. Despite this, the premise remains strong, and while not overly frightening, it's unsettling.
Characterization suffers in the anime. Limited time leaves characters underdeveloped and generic, lacking likability.
Artwork is commendable, with subdued yet impactful body horror. The deliberate framing maximizes disturbing scenes.
Sound and acting are adequate, but lack complexity due to shallow characters.
...
Improvements include lengthening the runtime for depth, adding complexity to characters, and further developing major plot points.
In conclusion, while visually striking with a solid premise and atmosphere, the anime's brevity hampers its potential. Though not awful, it falls short of fully realizing the Itou Junji classic, earning a 7/10 for its short horror experience and untapped potential.

Chainsaw Man thrives on its unpredictability, weaving a narrative filled with twists and turns that both honors and defies shonen conventions. At first glance, it may seem absurd, with a protagonist who appears foolish and a goal that seems trivial (touching breasts). Yet, where Chainsaw Man truly captivates is in its anticipation of the audience's weariness with these tropes. It acknowledges the tired formula of teenage protagonists burdened with world-saving duties and challenges us to care deeply about its characters and themes.
At its core, Chainsaw Man centers around Denji, a destitute teenager struggling to survive in a harsh world while paying off his father's insurmountable
...
debts to the yakuza. His partnership with Pochita, a chainsaw devil, sets the stage for his journey into the world of devil hunting. Unlike many shonen protagonists, Denji's backstory isn't merely a plot device; it deeply influences his character without limiting his growth. His introduction to the Public Safety Devil Hunters isn't driven by altruism but by necessity, showcasing a pragmatism born from his harsh reality.
Denji's relationship with Makima, the devil hunter who recruits him, is a poignant exploration of manipulation and abuse. Far from being a simple simpering protagonist, Denji's desires stem from a longing for connection and safety, rooted in his traumatic past. His interactions with other characters, particularly Power, add depth to his character and challenge conventional gender roles in anime and manga.
The supporting cast of Chainsaw Man is equally compelling, with each character exhibiting a unique blend of madness and realism. Fujimoto's skillful use of character death avoids desensitization, keeping readers invested in their fates. Despite the frenetic pacing, character development feels organic and nuanced, ensuring that even the most unlikely characters grow on readers over time.
The manga's art style, though divisive, complements its tone and pacing, conveying urgency and dread while showcasing Fujimoto's mastery of anatomy and expression. Gory fight scenes and dynamic panel layouts add to the manga's visceral impact, making it a visual feast for readers.
In summary, Chainsaw Man is a masterful blend of tragedy, humor, and horror that defies genre conventions. While its rapid pacing may be intense, it serves to heighten the story's tension and emotional impact. For those willing to brave its darkness, Chainsaw Man offers a unique and unforgettable experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional shonen manga

Goblin Slayer's brilliance shines in its unyielding portrayal of the savagery of goblins, compelling viewers to empathize with the adventurers whose lives are forever altered by these vile creatures. While the initial shock may be overwhelming, it serves to underscore the true evil lurking within the narrative. Enter Goblin Slayer, a vigilante reminiscent of a medieval Batman, exacting justice upon these fiends with ruthless efficiency.
Utilizing a range of methods, from crushing goblin teeth against rocks to splattering their brains on cave walls, Goblin Slayer's relentless pursuit of his mission is both awe-inspiring and chilling. His steadfast resolve, despite ridicule from his peers, speaks volumes about
...
his character and the deep-rooted trauma that fuels his crusade against goblins. Amidst the chaos, moments of camaraderie and thrilling action remind us why we're invested in this dark world.
However, not every episode hits its mark. Some deviations from the central narrative feel like missed opportunities, momentarily disrupting the momentum built by Goblin Slayer's quest. Yet, these missteps are quickly rectified, showcasing the series' ability to rebound with electrifying sequences that reaffirm Goblin Slayer's status as a formidable force.
What sets Goblin Slayer apart is its strategic depth, drawing inspiration from Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" as the titular character employs cunning tactics and keen insight to outmaneuver his foes. His singular focus on eradicating goblins, fueled by personal tragedy, distinguishes him from traditional heroes, making him a compelling and multifaceted figure.
Despite criticisms of excessive fan service and perceived lack of character development, Goblin Slayer remains a captivating and divisive figure within the anime community. Whether celebrated as a symbol of unwavering determination or criticized as a one-note avatar of rage, there's no denying the impact he's made on audiences worldwide.
