Most likely u will start watching higurashi because of the large amounts of murder and violence that is depicted.
However while i watched this show i found more reasons than one to watch this besides the violence. i found that the mystery and suspense along with the violence made watching this show very enjoyable and almost addicting. at the end of the first arc u will b left wondering "why this happened" And at the end of each arc a bit of the mystery will be solved, and you will be ready to watch more.

In all honesty this anime is absolutely incredible! When one watches Evangelion, he will be compelled to think in an immense amount of depth.
The story is impressive, complex, and unique. While at first it seems to be a normal mecha anime, the story shifts to a deep, psychological, and controversial story. There are many philosophical concepts and historical/biblical references that further enhance one's understanding of the plot such as "the lance of longinus", "kabbalah" or the "dead sea scrolls." If one has knowledge of the symbolism in Evangelion, then one will find meanings hidden within the story. i have watched a lot of anime ... |
