It's a completely different show. The stunning action and character development that we loved about the season 1 is totally gone without a trace. Instead this show focuses on some non violence Gandhi crap. You can even call is a slice of life anime on slaves. Thorfinn's character has taken a completele 180 and the story itself doesn't seem to head anywhere if it has any on the first place. It's getting more and more boring with each episodes and I might end up dropping it it this show continues this path.
The animation is decent and the FEW action sequences this show has were good.

This was the most overhyped anime i ever watched. I had heard about horimiya way before its animation came in. Its manga in under top 10 in most popular list on mal.
I was impressed by this show from the first episode. From its sound to visuals, everything looked perfect. And its opening gave me a mysterious feeling, like something big is about to happen in the show. Considering the hype, that looked completely logical and to my surprise what do i find ? NOTHING. Its boring. The story itself is good and this anime could have been great but i don't understand why it's makers decided to make it so boring.
Half of the series revolves around side characters and the protagonist himself is too busy to show his face. Log Horizon the guild itself hasn't accomplished anything. This season feels more like a spin off series where you can see your favourite characters in their daily lives. It's not like the story doesn't have a goal, it's just isn't moving towards it. My opinion took a U-turn after finishing this show.
It starts slow and I didn't really like it that much. It was actually very boring and compared to other Anime that came in winter 21(AOT final season, ReZero S2, Jujutsu kaisen was still running and many more), it stood no chance. This Anime has 2 parallel running stories about the spider and bunch of her classmates who all got isekai'd. In first 8 episodes, all MC(spider) do is grind.
