You can tell the author is inspired by this since there is a cameo appearance in ch 1. The genres are similar and feel similar when reading. The progression is all about blue balling the reader while dealing with misunderstandings along the way. Art is also similar / ecchi so can be appreciated since it's in like the same style.

i loved watching high score girl so much. enjoyed all the episodes and made me feel great the entire way thru. very similar experience with ore imo. would definitely recommend. great story telling. another great coming of age story
