One is sci-fi and about the future while the other is historical and about the past, but what they have in common is a large cast of characters that you gradually grow to love. Instead of focusing on just one protagonist, these 2 mangas connect the stories of many individuals, which eventually come together. I thought they were both boring at first, but then couldn't help but become addicted. Although the premises are different, I think they are both stories about love, pain, and surviving in a harsh world.

Though the premises are quite different, I like them both because of their realism and slow (yet satisfying) buildup of relationships.

These two give off the same vibe. The heroines are so funny, weird, simpleminded, strong, tomboyish, and of course lovable. They are different from normal girls in shoujo mangas. And the main guys start off as girl-haters but are really sweet to their girlfriends. I also like how (mini spoiler!) in both stories, they get together early on and overcome obstacles as a couple. As for the differences, I'd say Happy Hustle High is more lighthearted and the girl in koukou debut more innocent and naive.

Both have post apocalyptic worlds, and the protagonist a rash, hot headed boy who wants to kill all the (titans, vampires) for revenge for family members. Of the two, attack on titan is more gruesome, hopeless and exciting. I liked it better than Owari no Seraph, which is relatively new. When I read the first chapter of it though it reminded me of attack on titan, so give it a try! It's good in a different way. Note: I only read the attack on titan manga till the part the anime stops at (I watched the anime first).

These two mangas are really different: Inuyasha is more light-hearted, typical shonen while claymore is darker, and the plots are different too. I just feel like the battles are similar, with all the yoma energy stuff and the giant monsters regenerating, if you like those type of battles. Also, both of the main characters are part yoma and part human. They both have swords, and in claymore, the character keeps on learning new sword techniques and in inuyasha, the sword keeps getting new abilities.
