A Miyazaki classic that clearly defined what Studio Ghibli could offer in the succeeding years. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is like a fine wine that aged very well despite its airing more than 20 years ago. Its message on how nature and humans interact in the most brutal ways is shown in the movie. It doesn't hold back by having true to its intentions and really captivates the audience with simple yet powerful scenes.
Its animation may be roughly compared to today's standards but it is still something to look forward to.
