This is a great anime for people who enjoy gore. Blood is everywhere and there is not a single episode where at least one drop isn’t spilt. It shows what people with a lot of money can create and get away with, how extreme losses can affect the sanity of a person, and how twisted people with the power of manipulation can make life. Your Lie in April is an anime that revolves around friendship, loss, love, and recovery. It has this way of making your heart wrench and then making feel warm and cozy not long afterwards. Even though it is an overall really serious anime there are moments of comedy carefully woven into the story to take some of the edge off without throwing the anime off of its course.
