A tragic romance story, is always most fit in a military setting. The presentation and art and music is so artistic it is difficult for audience to be drawn into their world. The theme is mainly about a girl being turned into an ultimate weapon, that's the main theme, and one of my biggest doubt. It feels so far-fetched to have this illogical plot in order to bring out a tragic love story. After watching this in one day and taking like one week to recover from the sad atmosphere, I think the best part of this anime is the voice actors/actresses. It is undoubtedly ... Fumiko's best work ever.

Conan movie is never disappointing, if you compared to the TV series, the movie is longer to account for more details of character development (mainly the suspects and criminals, we don't need repeated character development on the main characters, since we all know this is not going anywhere, the author is not planning on any ending yet). The climax is at the end when they are trying to blast through to the opposite tower. Detective Conan movie is, you always know the ending, you always know everybody will be safe, you always know Conan will save her girlfriend or vice versa. With so many known ... what makes Conan movies still enjoyable is the details, when you trying to guess who is the murderer following the mc's point of view (though most of the time the reason to kill is so far-fetched)

''I was told this anime is super duper touching, be prepared to cry like a baby, it's way more stunning than Clannad''. I believe majority of you have heard these coming out from your friends or you have read these comments in forums etc. I started watching this with loads of expectations, of course and a box of stiff tissue for drying my tears whenever necessary. I am trying very hard to be objective while watching, and when I am typing my review here. First of all, everyone's 'crying point' in different, though we are in the same anime world but in reality we are ... from various cultural, education background and had different experiences. There must be something that is able to attack to the most fragile part of our heart, sometimes family, sometimes friends. That's why I say, everyone had a different 'crying point', like water boils at different boiling point under various pressure. Once your tears 'boiled', it's hard to calm yourself down, and suddenly this anime become magical because it successfully drags your emotion to the highest point. A bit off topic, I am trying to say, this anime is about a group of kids and the complicated romantic relationships between them, I do only appreciate the music and art that give credits in manipulating audience's emotions, the story line itself is a no.

The film is a continuation of Steins;Gate Ep 25, after Okabe confessed ''again'' and I assumed this is a happy ending (at least in this world line). If you are not not a fan of Okabe/assistant cp, for sure nothing works out in either world lines, not even in the upcoming Steins;Gate 0. So from this point onward my review is only based on Okabe/assistant as the only official couple in this anime and the only 'variable' among different world lines is whether 1) they can be together or not, 2) Mayuri will live or die. Alright then, here comes my doubt when I realize ... there is film after the happy ending of Ep 25, is there something more worth to be elaborated after such nice ending? I really doubted this. Then I was surprised the theme of the movie is Okabe's PTSD...The original series and the game is already too stunning with lots of climax and now the film which is going to be shown on silver screen, is about PTSD!? Anyway, I am still giving an overall 9 to the movie itself, if I make comparison with the original series, it won't even be more than 6 to me.

To be honest I think it will be a lot more intense and exciting if Code Geass is condensed into only 1 season. Too much details on explaining the 'Geass' magic. Everybody knows the main theme of the anime is Geass and this is how it is named too, no doubt about it. However majority of the audience were dragged away by the war tactics, the power struggle, the character development and turnover, even the relationships between Lulu and his fangirls! At that certain point of season 2, the origin of Geass is the smallest concern I can think of, which is supposed to be ... the climax of the plot. Nevertheless, it has a very good ending to wrap up everything.

Clannad overturns my prejudiced opinion on galgame style anime. I heard a lot of people asking whether they could skip season 1 and jump right into season 2 (after story) directly. My answer is you can, but PLEASE DON'T DO THAT. Season 1 comprised of tedious everyday life stories, it like you and me, when we were young and stubborn, when we had a crush on our classmate, when we had no idea what to do after graduation etc. Tedious, boring, childish. But please just keep watching, it is a foundation or a trick to drag your emotion into their world, you became like part ... of them, or maybe you were already acting or living like one of them in reality. While you are within their world without yourself even noticing that, it would be so much easier to manipulate your emotion afterwards. That episode at the flower field is still killing me. It brings so much tears I could never imagine. Hey exhausted urbanite! Leave a weekend at home and give Clannad a try, you may retrieve your genuine and pure heart.

The concept and idea of ''death note'' itself is already way too creative. Right from Ep1 the battle of intelligence started off so intense. Though the artwork and bgm wasn't so enjoyable overall but the plot itself is able to cover up all the remaining shortcomings. When thinking of battle of intelligence, most people come up with detective anime like Conan or Liar Game. However, Death Note is able to bring you a whole new experience compared to previous detective stories, the main characters '' think and act'' for reasons, not being forced to do so solely due to the genre of the anime they ... are in. Secondly, the relationship (romantic or I cannot think of another word) is also very realistic and emotional, this element acts as a ''moisturizer'' while you are in the middle of a thriller. Overall, anime is not always useless, some work like Death Note can give your brain a small exercise.

Undeniably it is a masterpiece. Though whenever I tried to recommend this anime to my friends, I have to start with saying ''basically it is about a kid looking for his dad and the journey starts, first he attends the hunter exam....'' and BANG, people started to ask me shut up at this point. Alright I know the plot of HXH sounds so childish, but just wait a second and give it a try. I am certain it will amaze you in less than 10 episodes, at least before the hunter exam is finished. The relationships (mainly friendship) between the main characters, the setting of ... the hunter world, the battle of wits during Greed Island and the kidnap. This is the ONLY anime I can never put of feelings into words. You've got to watch it, feel it by yourself, and I can assure you the enjoyment at the hunter world is unique compared to other anime.
HXH - details more stunning than the plot itself. Believe it. I loved it when I was 13, and I am still watching the manga and re watching the anime now (I am currently 28).

I watched 2003 version before this. And I am not sure if I can make a ''fresh eye'' review on the 2009 version. Anyway, I was too taken away by the Royai ship that makes me focus on their interactions more than the story itself. I feel bad about it when I cannot enjoy the plot and overall storyline properly. Secondly the team spent a hell lot of cost on top voice actors, making FMA a legend of the decade. The openings and endings are also very nice. I am just feeling sad about the ending of Royai. Small conclusion, though it is a great ... anime, with 64 episodes and knowing too well the endings of each character, I feel like it would be difficult to watch it twice.

Kyoto Anime. Stunning PV. What happen when brilliant minds work together? I watched until Episode 8 and now it leaves me more questions than answers. First of all, the filters used are making me feel too unrealistic and too ''heavy'', of course this is a personal preference and yea you may ignore this subjective comment. Secondly, right from the start of Ep 1 I never stopped telling myself '' don't worry it will be like Clannad, all these tedious daily life story telling is a foundation for something great in the future''. Now it's already halfway through the season, I was like urgggg it is ... so hard to be emotional since I can never put myself into their ''world'', I thought Kyo anime was good at this. I am disappointed. Or it is still too early to tell.
