For the most part, yes, it's definitely working. Even when it's less effective and I do in fact forget things, I can just read the essay again and remember everything. The downside is that it can be quite the cockblock when you want to move on to new media, but cba writing the essay for the one you just watched. D:

I just wanted to thank you for the lovely Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou review. It inspired me to watch it almost a year ago. It was one of the best anime experiences i've had. Laughed till tears. I haven't laughed that much since watching Belzeebub. This gem became one of my favourite anime.
