Preliminary (87/? chp)
I am not exaggerating or anything, but I give this manga a 10 rating.
This is beyond a masterpiece. Even after watching hundreds of animes, mangas, and venturing all types of genres, I am honestly proclaiming that this is the greatest one. Perhaps because I love the psychological genre most thats why I am a bit biased.

The story is a bit simple at first and as the story progresses, you'll be indulged with crazy, insane, overflowing, irrational, mindblowing concepts. THIS IS EXTREMELY INSANE AND HIGHLY ADDICTIVE.

The art is great, the details are fine, especially the expressions.

The characters-- THE CHARACTERS!!! THEY ARE THE BEST!!! They are ...

I have a thing for anime that mainly showcases Japanese culture and tradition, particularly its music, so I looked forward to Mashiro no Oto when its anime adaptation was announced. Though I only knew it was released in spring when it once passed through my fb feed because almost no one talked about it. Episode 5 was the latest release at that time.

Preliminary (20/53 chp)
This manga can overtake other romance animes if adapted as an anime. The plot itself is so unique. The character design of the mc looks like a man and a woman at the same time-- it matches her description perfectly.
I honestly am torn about the outcome of the manga. You will love every characters, and I think it will be better for the mc to either just die or become mona lisa.
I highly recommend this story. It will make you indecisive especially about your gender hoho. jk. Gender bender is my primary preferred gender amongst all genres, and so far this manga surpassed my expectations ...

i like the art style of the anime, particularly the eyes, so i give it a 10.
jk. cote offers godtier experience to the audiences, especially for those who seek mind-boggling plots and subplots.
ayanokouji does not aim for the best results, that is why predicting what he will do and what shall happen is not easy. If you read the light novels, deducing his train of thoughts is difficult at first but you'd eventually understand him. That is, if you pay great attention.
Ayanokouji manipulates every tools he can use around him, and he leads them to character developments. Like a god, a half-baked god at most. ...
