Im faintsmile1992 and Im an anime fan from England! The name faintsmile1992 comes from Teresa of the Faint Smile who is one of my favourite characters in the manga and anime Claymore.
I dont know any other anime fans where I live and I dont think Id like going to anime clubs or cons or meet ups. Im really a loner and I dont find it easy to make friends or to get on with other people.
And I prefer dubs to subs! In Japan people get to hear the anime in their own language and I like to understand what Im listening to too.

sure, we Misanthropes need to unite and educate the world about us
Misanthropes
(I learned this word from S.E. Cupp, as she's a Misanthrope too, and really smart, witty, and very respectable)
Anyway, I took a look at your blog and I find you very interesting xP, I get my lappy back tommorow, so then I can actually be online and talk to you, not only that, holidays start after school tommorow so we will have plenty of time to chat.
Just a hint, the website uses a sort of shell design, so each bit of content on the page has its own window which you can drag. The big one is the live chat, you can go to the members section, anime section and the rest through the services bit, I have quite a few friends who would probably love to speak to you also.
I'd agree with your views about Black Lagoon, but I was much younger when I watched it, those kind of feelings didn't really approach me, but definitely, now watching the Roberta's Trail OVA, I feel the same way, to be honest Ghost In The Shell is like a better, slightly twisted presentation of Black Lagoon and forgot to add that to my favourites in the personal message.
Anyhow, be back in a moment have to do the washing up and tidy my room a little, what time zone do you live in? So that I know when to talk and when not to if you know what I mean? :S
But of the top of my head I have to say some of my big favourites are Clannad, Black Lagoon, 5cm Per Second, Hourou Musuko (pretty recent, finished airing a few days ago), and a big one, that I really do think you should watch because it's truly stunning is, Higashi no Eden, first the TV series then the two movies... amazing!
I totally agree with you on the price of Jap consoles and the matter. It's been my dream to create a world where even great games are free (when obtained legally) or have only a small tag attached to them. I am a developer myself at only 14 (hides) and want to make some pretty good anime themed games but don't know where to start and would love it if you could fill me in on a few ideas.
Also, since you're a girl and you're into straight shota.. does that mean? I'm a little confused are you really a girl? I mean does the idea of dating a guy that's quite a bit younger than you make you feel comfortable or do you see it as weird. Sorry for the strange question I just find this kinda stuff really really interesteding xP
Oh, Angel Beats! and Bakemonogatari are also excellent anime.
