What can I say other than this is pure comedy gold. Dark Comedy but comedy.
If you want a short Plot moving Fantasy story about an OP MC who has an ever growing Harem (unwanted) then look no further than Peter Grill. I'll admit it's very low budget so don't look for profound animation, but the characters are funny and memorable. Ecchi and fantastic comedic timing. If I'm having a bad day, I watch an episode of this and I'm cracking up. Read the Manga if you are not patient. There is actually a decent plot building up.

What can I say about this that hasn't already been said? I'll address the elephant in the room. YES, Asta's Japanese voice actor is god awful. Yes it's basically Naruto. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. The English dub is fantastic, and the the story begins to suck you in with it's nonstop action and high stakes fights. What sets this apart from most anime in this genre is the rivalry between Asta and Yuno. and the mystery and false flags of a greater threat looming over the cast that has yet to make it's self known. My only complaint so far ... |
