Bocchi the Rock is a funny show with a serious history. On one side you have this comedy masterpiece, reminiscend of classics like Nichijou, that completely utilizes its media to it's advantaged. Humour is very subjective, but the direction with spot on comedic timing allows most jokes to land, and they do land hard.
The other side of the anime is a character-driven drama about the main character who wants to improve from her social anxiety. It's great to see the effort put in by Hitori, the MC, to overcome her shortcomings and allow her musical talent to flourish. Despite the absurd humour, the writting
...
in the serious part of the show is very grounded and well tought.
The characters, for example, despite looking like canned moeblob personalities on the surface, they are all build in a way that makes them feel natural. Humoristic exaggerations aside, that's include how they talk, act and much more. Plus they do have a lot of chemist together. Sadly most of the focus of the naime is on Hitori, wich despite letting a lot of untapped potential in the others, compensates us by delivering one of the best descriptions of someone with social anxiety ever.
Going back to the start I said that the comedy completely uses the media to it's advantage. The whole show uses it in fact, with each frame begin begin filled with little details that makes funny things funnier and also help to make us know what's going on with the characters on the inside. It's also about begin creative to describe the situations that are happening. Of course this is only possible considering how good both the direction and the animation quality is.
I think I'm forgotting about something...oh the music. Both the soundtrack and the songs of Kessoku Band are great. And music as a vector to tell the history is used with mastery. They take a realistic aproach where you can see how much effort a band has to put to be able to play together on a decent level. This both in a individual and collective level. The only thing that will annoy some is that it takes sometime for them to finally play a song, just like in a good sports anime where we have a training arch at the start.
The weird part about this show is how well everything fits. You have very strong visual comedy, paired with a realistic history about how hard bands have to work to be allowed to rock to people; and the chery on top is the history of a girl growing as human begin and making friends.
I strongly reccomend it for everyone. Some people would like if the hummour was a little more grounded, or if they played more songs or even if Hitori was a little less social awkward. But this show does enough things well to allow most people to like it despite not cliking with everything.

As someone with social anxiety this anime is too accurate to the point where it become scary lol. This anime is really funny, specially if you have experienced some of the hardships the show uses to make the MC suffer. The direction is good, soundtrack and animation is what you would expect from the genre, history dont have since it's a slice of life, MC is a great characters but the few others are a little bland. Bear in mind that comedy is different for anyone so you can not have fun at all with this one, but I strongly recommend to have at
...
least 3 episodes since if this anime is for you you will have a good? time.

Story(8):
-Writing: the writing in this anime most of the time is very good, but there are times where it gets lazy. Sometimes it relies too much on conveniences, and at other times the characters simply act illogically.
-Worldbuilding: the construction of the world is excellent, with an extensive lore explaining how the universe got to where it is. The anime does not focus much on single planets, but it is possible to see subtle differences between the way of life of each of them. When comparing the empire with the alliance, the differences are very pronounced and you can see the differences and cultural similarities.
...
The anime also does not focus on the composition of armies, but leaves enough clues for you to understand how battles work: when to use shields, fighters, etc... It's like learning chess by watching world champions play(but to be honest i wanted a tutorial on how to make the castling).
-Pacing: the pacing of this anime is excellent, and there are few episodes that do not matter for the whole story, which gives a feeling that this is always advancing. The only negative point are some dialogues that are very long and massive, but in general it is a very nice anime to follow.
-Dialogue: they are excellent, very well constructed. They fulfill their role when they need to be funny, informative or worrying. It is impossible to watch this anime until the end without engaging in any of the reflections it proposes about Dictatorship x Democracy. As I said above they to get heavy sometimes, but still great.
Art(7):
-Scenarios: it's very beautiful, especially the space part. It is necessary to get used to the characters' faces, especially if you are used to the super expressive modern faces. I admit without shame that until half of the anime I had difficulty deciphering the feelings of the characters, and could only guess them by the context.
-Animation: the animation is ok, but you can't demand anything exceptional from an anime of so many episodes. It is consistent, but often uses static frames, which bothers in action scenes, especially in hand-to-hand combat.
Sound(8):
-Sound direction: it's great and helps a lot in the anime atmosphere, the songs are well used and the sound effects are realistic.
-Voice acting: It's weak, at times it felt like a dub.
Characters(7): the good characters are excellent, but the bad characters are extremely one-dimensional and poorly written. And unfortunately those weak characters corresponds to a large part of the cast. There are just too many generic arrogant nobles, generic incompetent admirals and generic corrupt politicians.
Enjoyment(8):
Overall, the anime is very good, and you want to keep watching to see what happens next, but there are several problems. As I mentioned above, the writing and the characters will disappoint you a lot of times. In addition, the action direction is weak, land battles are very poorly done, and many space battles still fall short. The general direction also leaves much to be desired in many moments.
Overall(8): For those who like political dramas, the anime is excellent. The story is also very good and the dialogues make you reflect. The battles could be better, and the characters could be better written. The sound is great but the VA lacks. There are some favorite character materials in this anime, like Oberstein, but unfortunately most of them are as bland as Braunschweig.

In technical terms the film is on the same level as the series (actually a little better, but considering it's a movie this was expected), so I don't see any point in analyzing this part.
In general the characters are practically the same, with a good new waifu that and another weak villain. But in general it is interesting to see the subtle changes that many of them have accumulated in these four years, and the path they have taken.
The story still simple but interesting. The biggest change comes in the tone of the film, it's more serious and gloomy. Miyamori is unexpectedly discouraged
...
and in general things are not rigth. In the first half hour we learn why things are like this, and the focus is very much on the protagonist's feelings. The following half hour it's the figth to get things improving. Overall it is a good change of perspective, especially after the timeskip, but I think that the pacing was too slow. Personally I didn’t like that first half as much, but people who prefer a more subjective approach to things may even like it more. The second hour of the movie is closer to the the original series, and it was very enjoyable.
In general if you liked the original anime you have no reason not to see the film, and if you didn't like it so much it may be worth taking a chance due to the more serious approach.

It is common for an anime full of potential to be adapted without a decent investment, and the example of this season is 100-man in Inochi.
Story(7): it's simple but interesting, it revolves around the premise described in the synopsis, but it is visible that it has some extra complexity that probably will not be fully explored this season. The world itself is also complex and well-built, allowing space for endless different plot situations. In general those aspects are being used very well, especially as a form of character development, but I'll get to that later. And in advance: this is not your OP MC gets
...
a harem and dominates a fantasy world type of Isekai. It's the opposite, MC suffers to get things done before he gets really strong type(but with a troll twist that I will not spoil).
Art(3):
The character designs are ok but nothing special. Animation is pure power point with some pontual bad sakugas, but it do not distort a lot. The CGI is ok too. Backgrounds are forgeteable.
Sound(6): it's nothing special but does the job.
Characters(8): at first glance they seem to be your traditional one-dimensional characters, but as the anime gets deeper into their personalities you notice they have strong reasons to be who they show and to act in that way. This is truth to both the main group and also some secondary ones. And you can see the characters growing from the events they go through, especially the male protagonist, but the girls in the group are clearly waiting in line to have their arcs.
Enjoyment(8) and conclusion:
In general I am enjoying this anime more with each episode, as it proves to be more complex and interesting each week. If you can ignore a horrible animation accompanied by the rest of the mediocre technical part, I recommend you give it a try because of the story and the characters. I can assure that this show have a lot to offer ahead. But don't expect that you will like it from the first episodet. Or you can read the original material, and you probably won't miss a thing (I'm lazy so I will continue with my half-assed anime).

Usually, when someone writes a review, for some reason we tend to overcomplicate it. But, since The God of High School is a simple anime, I will write a simple review:
*If you think that a good anime came from awesome sakuga moments accompanied by a great soundtrack, this anime is for you.
*If you think that a good anime comes from a well-written story, with a complex script and memorable characters, stay away from this anime.
Overcomplicated version:
In general the anime is extremely well animated, has a great soundtrack and a good direction. The episodes are full of Sakuga and most of the fights are well
...
choreographed(though most are anti climatic).
The story seems to be much deeper than what was shown until episode 7 (although several twists have already been shown), but the anime script leaves a lot to be desired, leaving several loose ends, parts that feel forced and a BIG feeling of rush(in a nutsheel->the anime has SAO level of writing, a great concept begin wasted by poor execution).
The main trio is cool and interesting, and has good chemistry, but the rest of the cast is forgettable.
The worldbulding and the power system seems to be well made, but I haven't seen enough to give an opinion(and if I'm sure about it, the writing of the anime certainly won't be able to demonstrate it).
Overall it is a fun anime, but you are forced to ignore a lot of things to enjoy it. In the end it all depends on how much you can turn off your brain to watch it.

I haven't watched idol anime enough to know which one is an empty copy and which is an innovative masterpiece, and because it's not my favorite genre I think I'll never get to that point. But even if I don't know which category Re: Stage fits into, I would say there are enough reasons for any Idol anime fan to watch and enjoy this it.
The story is pretty basic: girls who dream of being idol but can't, or give up for some reason, can finally realize their dream after they meet and convince themselves(AS AWAYS). Also don't expect much from the drama, there are some,
...
but mostly standard character developments and some slightly sad moments that some people can connect with.
The art is amazing. The character design is unique, kawaii and well made. The animation is good and all the dances have been mostly 2D(some distant shots are CGI but isn't bad). The show also have a lot of cute and fun moments provided by this visual quality. The use of CGI is minimal and almost imperceptible(Bus rims and as I said some distant dance shots). The backgrounds are good.
The sound is good, but not remarkable. The musics were good too. The singing of the characters themselves din't feel very natural(maybe it's only me) but was not bad.
The characters are very basic and mostly one-dimensional but they are fun and also work well together. There are several eccentric characters in the series that even if they have no special characteristics, give the anime a special spice. Inside Kirare the 6 girls split into 3 affinity subgroups that have excellent chemistry (although this slightly harms the overall chemistry).
It's a Enjoyable anime to follow. It has a lote of cute comic moments. It's a little cartoony sometimes(super hacker), which I disliked, but it's not critical. The worldbuilding is pretty basic, although the technology factor is a bit ahead of reality. The fact that it happens in elementary school is just a gimmick, but helps in the cuteness factor. Overall if you like cute girl anime or idol anime you will probably enjoy it. Give it a try at least for the above average treatment this anime has received.

Sora to Umi is another anime that tries to capitalize on the genre of cute girls doing cute things, and try to use a different concept to do this, which fails since everything else is generic.
The concept of the anime, space fishing, could work even being strange. But they don't give explanations enough and only force you to accept that all fish have disappeared into the earth and can be fished in space. In general the worldbuilding is very poor, you have what is necessary for the fishing to occur and the rest is just our world, populated with very generic support characters. And this
...
is strange because you have ultra modern space rockets, deities that are summoned by mobile apps (and have no explanation at all) in a mid-sized Japanese beach town with some rural areas. The story is very simple and linear, with some twists without much impact. The development of the characters is forced and the dramatic moments mostly do not thrill.
The art of the anime is beautiful but it's nothing that stands out, and the animation despite being consistent is extremely basic with scenes of little movement. The scenes that need more fluidity are made by mediocre cg.
The sound is enough,does not stand out but does not lacks also. The dubbing is strange with some characters(mainly Maki) but overall it's just mediocre.
The characters are generic, with one-dimensional personalities and a pre-defined drama created to have the basic character development. Only the MC(Haru) stands out for being retarded beyond standards.
Overall this anime could work, maybe even with the superfluous explanation and the poorly constructed world. At least if the focus was the fishing, but 80% of the anime is slice of life, full of moe scenes and the resolution of forced dramas. The training is largely ignored, and most fisheries are quick and poorly done, usually with the whole team failing and a single girl solving everything. And they fails a lot, especially Haru, and they do not seem to learn from mistakes. Also this anime feels like it was make by feminists. The entire anime the female squad suffers disrespect for being composed of women, and they arrange a pretty tattered excuse at the end of the anime to justify this.(this anime may also have been made by machists to show that women are useless because the characters are).
I had fun in some parts but honestly I got bored in most of the anime. Overall I would not recommend it, there are many better cute girls animes. Maybe if you're looking for anime with weird proposals, you probably will not like it, but the anime fits in parts what you want.
