Not sure how much if any anime will be watched in the next four months as I've heard Prague apartments don't have the most reliable Internet.
I'm a full-time student working on a B.A. in both Art History and Anthropology. I usually watch anime when I need a break from writing papers or doing massive amounts of assigned reading, or when I'm trying to put those things off, haha.
I suppose my taste in anime is fairly broad, but I'm generally drawn to the quirkier stuff. Most of the anime people say are "random" I find logical and thoughtful. And yes, I do like yaoi, but I can totally justify it - I actually wrote a term paper on it. I'm always up for a good discussion or a new recommendation : )

Lol Soul Eater. One of my friends is OBSESSED with it so I'm pretty much bound to watch it even if I don't enjoy it... I'm really not sure about it yet though. The art is beautiful and Death the Kid is really endearing; so far the rest of the cast is sort of forgettable and the plot doesn't seem to know where it's going. Then again, I just finished the 3 episode prologue arc (points for originality there; I've never seen/read/played anything with a multiple part prologue XD) so maybe a real plot will develop now... I don't usually watch things with this type of ecchi though. Ecchi in general makes me cringe except when it's done in very specific ways... I could probably write an essay detailing that actually XD.
yea I know how cat soup can be painful sometimes. Its violent, brutal and, sometimes, rude. Nekojiru is weird. Well not that cat soup wasnt weird. But Nekojiru is different. The animation, direction, story etc are completely different. And the cats talk too. You could check it out for the wtf moments. Its quite interesting actually, and its also disgusting at times.
yep, NHK is pretty good. I dont normally watch slice-of-life comedy but NHK was too hard to resist. I'm almost done with the show though. I'll check out Birdy the mighty when I have the time (*sigh*), thanks for the tip :D
so wassup on your end?
Wow, I am really into Durarara. I am a big fan of Baccano and I am impressed how well they preserved what was cool about it but still made a very different show. It reminds me a little of Baccano+Eden of the East, really. Granted, I've been this into long shows before and had them end up not being good, so I suppose we'll have to wait until I have a solid opinion...
