The reason I give this manga a 6 is because the story develops very slowly and when you finally have something going on , it ends abruptly.It had alot of potential and I wish they would have continued further, but unfortunetly there is no questions answered and no development.

The art also was not much of a big deal, it was not bad but not interresting.

Characters were alot of fun, to bad you don't get to know them that much. The main character was original and was fun to watch and had an interresting backround.

My biggest enjoyement is the main character ... who is, in my opinion very original. They also used some historical figures from 17th century France such as Louis XIII
and Cardinal Richelieu , and also some fictional characters you will recognize if you are familiar with Alexandre Dumas.

Honestly, I wouldn't really recomend this manga if you want a complete story with a good ending with no cliffhangers. But you can enjoy the sense of humor which was entertainning, the main character and how the story was starting to developped, but you might still be dissapointed afterwards.

I haven't read much chapters so far but I am really looking forward to the next chapter.
The story itself is very original. You find yourself intrigued and surprised every time a lie is revealed and you end up going back in the pages and you are like" OH!! So that how he did it!!" .
The art is good, nothing special about it, it fit the story well.
The characters are interesting,have a lot of depth and humanity to them. Something is always revealed about their background , so they never bore you.
The story is very exciting and fun to read, I would recommend this manga ... to people who love trying to solve tactics or mysteries and who loves story with psychological games, maybe it wouldn't be much appealing to young audience but hey try it out just in case, you never know. Anyways , HAVE FUN READING!!!

The movie was really great. Some people might be a little disturbed by some scenes and how the story plot goes or might not feel comfortable with the artwork, but it is to know that the director, Hiroshi Harada, drew the entire movie by himself and he wanted to make it look like a sort of japanese paper play. At first I was being dissapointed about the animation, but later it gets better and really breath takes you for some scenes. The story is wonderful , the characters are wee thought. After seing some drawings from the graphic novel it was based on ... , I believe it stayed true to it's spirit. I recommend that people that are really sensitive or can't stand cruelty and violence think twice before watching this because it can really get intense , but people who don't mind that and who want to watch something original with an interesting style and art work should definetly go for it.

I really loved this manga because it changes from the stereotyped manga styles that you usually get in other works, which is refreshing. It's entertainning ,it's only one book ( so you don't need to collect an entire series to get the story) ,it has a deep and original love story, nice characters and it's the manga that made kiriko Nananan one of my new favorite mangaka. Some people might be bothered by the art or find it to simplistic, but I find that it goes really well with the style. I am not a big Yuri fan but I really enjoyed it ... and recommend it. If you like something entertaining, deep, down to earth story that you can relate to ( specially if you are between the age of 16-25 and you are a women) give it a chance.
