just a point if you are here about the odd taxi review. Im probably not going to respond as i watched it such a long ago and don't care enough. Also if you comment and dont let people comment to your stuff i will 100% delete anything you write. If you want to give criticism without letting me respond then i really dont care for what you have to say. Same goes if your comment is clearly emotional one (needless insults or patronizing) or if you delete my response.

first off, finally someone else who hates odd taxi. and you love haibane renmei???? great taste <3

@Tjerbor I mean yeah some of his points are valid and I won't hold it against him if he didn't like the show. It's obviuosly all subjective. Though some points can just be debunked or explained like the cops hating taxi drivers had a reason given being that their parents died because of a taxi driver and since they were kids at that time it really got to them.
I was reading theories on other sites and it looks like people were suspecting the actual killer correctly. There are clues hidden in the story but you need to look for them yourself to find them. Saying it didn't make sense and came out of the blue is just simply wrong in this case.
For the sub plots themselves I agree that some or weaker than others like the comedians having issues holding on to their radio show or the kid that got scammed when buying an eraser. But saying it was badly written is also kinda wrong. At least I think so. Durarara did it similarly and so did Baccano. Both shows have certain weaker plot lines but are really liked and why is that? Because not every character needs to be as complex as a main character or an antagonist.
Odd Taxi is fairly grounded in reality so why wouldn't it make sense for someone that lived in isolation and a very violent household, getting scammed at a young age because of said life and then making up a nonsensial goal (at least to us it might seem dumb but people IRL do shit like that) to find at least one reason to continue living. So why is it bad writing if he finally after years of suffering reaches his selfmade goal of getting that dodo bird stands in complete shock right when crossing the road? Phone broke, dodo gone, only goal in life gone. Him losing all of this because of a taxi driver and finding the gun made him change his mindset from "I am at fault" to "Someone else is at fault". I don't see how that doesn't make sense.

But as I said at the beginning: Art is subjective so like what you like and dislike what you dislike. I am just here to drop my take on some of the points. Not all cause that would take way too long lmaao. Have a good one!

I like how toxic the Odd Taxi community is for your review instead of trying to revoke your points by giving counterarguments. Bet you'll have to endure this for a while until Odd Taxi will be forgotten.
