The only words I can use to describe this show is as follows: Oh. My. God...
This is honestly one of the best animes I have ever seen, it is a gut wrenching roller coaster ride of drama, betrayal, love and psychopathic murder. When people tell you that Yuno (the Second) is a psychopathic fucking batshit insane character, you just need to watch a few episodes to realize that.
If there's anything you need to know, its this:
1.) Yuno will always out crazy herself in a future episode.
2.) You'll still love Yuno after.
She's a character you wont just love to hate, but you'll have to love

This has to be one of my top animes of all time. Planetes is a hard sciencefiction story with incredible characters and a great view of the future. While not everyone will be able to appreciate this, the show after watching so many shonen animes was a breathe of fresh air. It was refreshing to see realistic character interactions and well developed drama as well as a believable story set in space without huge robots and explosions (sorry Gundam, you're still in my top animes too!)
If you live more mature stories, if you are really anal about characters and their interactions then you'll love this ... |
