The thing that differentiates Kids on the Slope the most is the execution of the combination of sound and art. It's the first time I've seen animation along with the music done correctly.

Aside from that, the story was well written. I liked how everything was realistic, unlike most other anime. The only thing that turned me off a little was the dramatic rampages from the piano guy. The character interactions were really well done. I felt like I could hang out with them.
The best part was the festival or anytime they were playing together.

So obviously, everyone see this anime.

Mixed Feelings
Eye patch ladies arent really my style, but this one turned me on.

The art and directing were superb in "Another." The scenes and camera angles were at least good and sometimes excellent. The soundtrack made me poo my pants even though the actual story at the time had nothing to do with pooing my pants.

I thought the overall story was good, but some parts were a little silly, Im sure you agree with me on that one. The ending was not retarded, which I was expecting so that unexpectedness made it enjoyable. My favorite person pig tail lady didn't ...

The originality of the story is what makes Eden of the East a good anime to watch.

The art, background, characters are all masterpieceish. Especially for an anime series. The characters look more real than your average anime.

The reason the anime is not the best of all time is presentation of the story. Although the story is original and awesome, it was executed in a weaker fashion. This may have been on purpose to make the anime a sort of a relaxing and enjoyable instead of on the edge of your seat sort of thing. The ending made me ...

The best part of the entire series is the ending and it is definitely worth to watch.

What makes the story amazing is scheming and development of the main character, for the most part. I was on the side of the main character and at times questioned my loyalty, which actually happened to the characters of the story also. You would think you would know how the ending would happen, but for some reason, it felt as something I would have never guessed.

I liked some of the relationships between the characters and how the story did not concentrate so much on touchy ...

The first difference I saw from the last one was the depth of characters. Every character had depth including main and small characters. There was even depth in the homunculus.

I was glad to find that the anime was definitely different from the last one in terms of the story. The story of Winry turned out better, which I'm glad it did.
Overall, I didn't like how the story gave up on the brothers bringing back the mother. It went to the brothers bringing back their bodies too quickly.

Anyways, the meaning of the entire story was worth something. That was the ...

The childishness of the anime was extremely hard to keep my attention. At times during the last couple of episodes, the story actually took place. But the number of episodes to go through to get to that point was too much to enjoy the anime.

I very much enjoyed this anime, but looking back at it all I can think about is what I didn't like about it.

The first thing was the mixed emotions that were all throughout the secondish half of the anime.

And there was the problem of who was the main person. The anime never really made me believe that the "hero" was the hero. Everyone pretty much bowed down to that person also. They gave too much to the main dude.

They definitely cut out a lot of stuff it seemed or just sped up things. Like most mecha, the ...

Mushishi (Anime) add
For a episodic anime, which episodic shows do not usually carry my fancy, but for "Mushi-shi" this IS the best of the best in terms of episodic.

The number one thing that makes it above all else is "other world" that it incorporates with the world as we know. It brings it in quite nicely to where it seems natural, and they actually make it natural.

Pretty much if an anime has excellent art, animation, then it should be a worth while anime. "Mushi-shi" does not lack in the category, and might be the best for the amount of episodes and running time that comes ...

This movie was overall a good idea, but after watching it, it was nothing spectacular.

What stood out the most was the "machine" aspect. There were lots of things moving throughout and it definitely held your attention. I liked how the "family of geniuses" was concentrated on. You were able to root for the good guy more because of it, at least thats what I did.

Still overall, there was some good this and that, but nothing was amazing.

Gankutsuou (Anime) add
I loved the art in this anime, they used patterns on mostly everything instead of solid colors, which gave it an epic, inspired sort of feel to it, definitely worth watching with just that.

But the art definitely wasnt the only good thing. The character development was definitely a plus. There was some simple dialogue throughout, but you could feel along with the characters. I enjoyed the "aristocrat" type setting that the characters where in. It gave the anime lots of class.

What seemed weird is that the climax to the anime lasted for 10 episodes or so, but it didn't ...
