And so it has finally came to an end , One Punch Man the anime that made me feel like a child just grinning and waiting in anticipation for each new episode to arrive so that i could witness Saitama beating the living crap out of a villain and this is a feeling that i will miss. But was this anime worth all its praise and hype ? It totally was and if you haven't watched it yet then well you my friend is missing out on something great.
The story of One Punch Man is a parody and satire of every single Action Shounen Anime
...
that is out there along with its community , it barely takes it self seriously and is something you should just watch for mindless fun , there is plenty of thrilling fight scenes that is accompanied by hilarious comedy that makes this show truly something special. It is also a really well done adaption of the manga with almost every event following 1 : 1 with little to no filler , some of the fight scenes are extended as well and there are some extra personal moments for character building that i really appreciate props to MadHouse !
Characters are well pretty much what makes this show. They are all really enjoyable and hilarious , we have our two main characters being Saitama , a hero for fun which trained so much he has lost all emotions but in exchange he can one shot almost any thing out there and Genos a hero which started out seeking for vengeance that eventually became Saitama's apprentice due to how strong he is.
The interaction and banter among the two MC is jut hilarious to watch and they will quickly grow on you due to how charismatic they are which keeps you begging for more of their daily life shenanigans. The supporting cast in this show is really strong as well with my favorite being Mumen Rider and Bang due to how likable they were.
Next up is the Animation and Sound , Oh my god the animation quality is just top notch , the fights are animated fluidly with some of the best soundtrack to accompany it and when the punch finally hits you could just feel the impact of it due to how amazing the sound was. The voice actors does a really amazing job as well in voicing the characters that added a lot of charisma into them.
Overall , I would recommend anyone that hasn't watched it yet to go and watch it NOW , it does the manga justice with some of the best animations behind it and has plenty of hilarious moments that is unforgettable. It is not by any means perfect as there is minimal character development and a story that gets rather repetitive but this is a show that doesn't take itself too seriously and is just there the satirize Shounen Animes.

I have never been more let down by a show before , this show started so well that i would call it spectacular , the story was intriguing and tense at times with plenty of moments that i really liked but this was just for the first 14 episodes , the other 11 episodes or the 2nd half was a huge letdown that just made me wonder why it didn't end when it was still about SAO.
It starts with introducing us to Kirito the stories main character as he enters into this game called Sword Art Online using the "nerve gear" however things weren't pretty
...
as all the players soon found themselves to be stuck within the game with almost no way to escape unless they beat the all the floors to the dungeon but here is the catch , if they die in game they are pretty much done for in real life. Sounds interesting doesn't it ? Well it certainly was and i can't deny that.
The first half of the show was highly enjoyable , i really liked how it set it self apart from other animes that are based on games by making death something that had to be considered by the characters in the unknown world they were trapped in. This brought stakes to whatever actions the characters took be it exploring new floors , venturing into secret rooms or even trusting people and this aspect of dread and just wanting to stay alive really sold it for me.
Now for the second part .... I really hated this part and all the arcs that followed , whatever i just explained above was not there any more and it suddenly became just another bland OP MC anime that we have seen a million times now. Do i also have to explain how stupid the villain and his motives were ?
As for the characters , the only ones i actually really emphasized and cared about were just Kirito , Asuna and to some extent Yui as this characters were the only to have gotten any development throughout the show to be honest with you. The rest of the characters are what i would call throw away characters that are just there to make it into another bullshit harem situation for the MC , Rika and Keiko are the same characters as when they first appeared and are given little to none character development , Klein a character which i personally really enjoyed is also given the same treatment where he is given so little screen time and development that it felt like a shame as he was a really enjoyable character that i loved every moment he was in the show and of course what is a harem without a bland overused brocom little sister character right ? yeah i am talking about Suguha and she could disappear for all i care.
Art and animation is nice , not the best but not the worst either , some fight scenes were animated extremely well while some of the other scenes could look pretty average at times. Monsters and character designs were actually pretty decent and i really loved how some of them looked. As for the sound i really didn't like the OP's or ED's but the OST were extremely stellar.
Overall , this is a show i would recommend you to watch for the first 14 episodes and then decide for yourself whether you want to watch the rest of it as while i may have despised the 2nd half some of the people i have talked to enjoyed it so make that judgement for yourself.

I honestly wasn't expecting much out of Your lie in April when i started it , after all it looked like just another Light hearted Romance story on the surface but was i proven wrong fast. This anime is anything but light hearted and let me just warn you that if you have no intention of getting your heart torn to pieces it is best that you turn away and search for another anime , but if you want to watch something beautiful that will leave you depressed for a day or two then you have probably came to the right place.
The story that Your
...
Lie in April told was beautiful and touching , it was a story with serious undertones of how trauma could devastate , twist and destroy a person and this person was the stories main character Arima Kousei , a child prodigy that made his name by being one of the youngest child pianist to have won the Saki Competition , he is looked up upon by plenty of musicians of his generation but ultimately stopped playing the piano when he turned tone deaf after the trauma of his mother's death but also due to him viewing the piano as an instrument of torture because of the child abuse his mother inflicted on him. This was until he met Kaori Miyazano , an upbeat and positive violinist which lit up his world was once again by giving him another reason to play the piano.
The show is absolutely heart wrenching at times , I actually cried at some episodes and this is something a lot of shows failed to do . There is some comedy and comic relief at times however i felt this was kinda out of place at the more serious moments but other than that it was a decent way to take some tension after some serious scenes.
The pacing is actually really good as well even though some of my friends tend to disagree with me , i felt that there wasn't a dull moment throughout the show and it can even get intense at times. Story progresses really well with each act fitting in with each other seamlessly , I also like how the flashbacks is done so that it only happens when there isn't any conversation going on , this doesn't stagnates or hinders the progression of the story so a huge point for that.
What i really liked as well about this anime was how it portrayed music as something much more then just entertainment. Music could be used to express who you are , your emotions , your feelings , what you are working for and this could be done just by the way you play the score. This anime captures and understands this masterfully. As an avid piano player myself i couldn't enjoy the classical music much more.
The character's in this is really enjoyable as well , the characters actually felt real from all the development they get , the banter among them and the hilarious interactions among the trio Watari , Tsubaki and Arima. Although , I wished that we got more screen time of Watari and Tsubaki as well as Emi and Aiza as they were really enjoyable characters. Kaori i felt was the most developed character throughout the show , I felt so attached to her and i enjoyed all the interaction's she had with the characters especially those with Arima . Arima comes a close second , We get to see as he matured and worked past his problems to become the great pianist that he once was , he had some of the most hilarious moments throughout the show and i really liked his relationship with Kaori.
The art was pretty stellar as well , some scenes looked like they came out of a painting. the character designs were unique and nice looking , animation felt sluggish at times but i didn't really mind that as it felt more like an animated manga of sorts but i have to say some of the CGI piano playing scenes felt really out of place.
Do i even have to say about the sound design ? I mean for an anime to be about music it has to have amazing music right ? Well of course ! the 2nd OP is one of my favorite OP's of this year . the OST was so good that i went and ordered it and of course the classical music that was just a pleasure to hear.
Overall this gets a nice and tasty 10/10 from me , I really liked how it incorporated all the emotions into the show that just makes you want to root for all its characters , it had some of the best music behind it and i have to say it was a damn roller-coaster ride from start to finish that will leave you satisfied when you are done with it.

When I first heard of this anime i was interested to start watching it , it was written by the same team behind Angel Beats ! one of my favorite series as well as being an original title. When i finished the anime all it did was leave a sour taste in my mouth.
Story :
The first 8 episodes were actually decent and enjoyable for me , there was actually build up and character development throughout those 8 epsiodes with tons of interesting character interactions among the characters. Not only that , there was actually a sense of progression which was sorely lacking
...
in the second half. However i really felt like the encounters with the other ability users could have been cut shorter instead of dedicating an entire episode to it but that might just be me.
Now for the episodes after 8 or what i would like to call the 2nd half , the 2nd is actually a lot darker which was a change i personally really liked , but was it executed properly ? Hell no, everything was off in the 2nd half. The pacing was incredibly poorly done , everything was going so fast that it left you overwhelmed with question it never truly answers. It also undoes everything the first 8 episodes were building up for and then proceeds to throw all the character development down the drain. This was personally something i couldn't look past , why make something major that changed all the characters then proceed to take all the impact that it had away by undoing it ?
Next is the ending , Oh. My. God. How could someone actually write an ending like this and release it is beyond me. I have no idea how to describe it to you since this is an entity on its own. Go watch it and you will know what i mean.
Characters :
My main problem with this anime actually lies on its characters and while i enjoyed the main characters and their interactions with others i have to say that aside from 2 characters which was Nao and Otosaka none of the others were given enough development to make me actually feel attached to them at all and this is due to the massive influx of characters that the show keeps on pouring in as the episodes progressed. An example would be Ayumi , being a major character that played a part in progressing the story , she was given so little screen time and development that i really didn't care or felt attached at all to her character. She was the typical little sister character that was there for the sake of being there , same goes to the majority of characters in the anime , they are given so little development and was just there for the story to move forward which is disappointing coming from the people who made Angel Beats.
Art :
One of the saving points of this anime is actually its art and animation , the characters were designed pretty well and backgrounds were beautifully made. There were some scenes where i just paused and observed how beautifully drawn the background , some fighting scenes were insanely well animated as well so kudos to the people behind the art and animation you guys deserve a cookie.
Sound:
The voice actors actually did a really decent job in voicing the characters , all of them sounded like i expected them to sound which was a huge plus for me. The OST and songs that were used for the OP and ED were also pretty amazing and this is definitely one of the merits of this show
Overall :
While i enjoyed some parts of this show I couldn't look past the faults to give it a score higher then 5/10. I left the show with a ton of questions and was given an ending that left me unsatisfied , perhaps it could have done a better job with 24 episodes but at its current state a 5/10 is all i could give it.

You know when you stumble across an anime that is so good you don't really want to stop watching ? This is one of them.
I really liked how well paced and written this anime was . Through out the entire 12 episodes which i had watched, there was almost no dull moments where i felt like nothing is happening or progressing. The dialogue is incredibly witty and smart , Comedy was executed perfectly , Action scenes were pretty well done and it also does a great job in building some of the characters throughout the entire season .
Animation and art was also pretty amazing
...
i have to say , the visuals in this are pretty and character design is top notch put a topping of incredible fight scenes and a cherry of amazing soundtrack and boom Noragami
Overall , Stop wasting your time and go watch this Gem there is a second season currently airing as well so chop chop .
